Hey KC where do you usually find the team selections? Last season it was easy to find it on the VFL site or Facebook but I've been struggling to find it this year

Although the positions are clearly ridiculously. Johnstone and Kent as the back pockets was the first clue!

Not to mention that the team on the VFL site doesn't have a half back line or a centreman.

Looks like a lovely day to head to Box Hill to see the Dees play.

Any word on which of the emergencies flew to Perth and will not be playing for Casey today?

Looking forward to the culinary delights of Box Hill Oval

Just a heads up, Keilty's carrying a decent head cold. The Docs at the club gave him some good drugs but don't expect him to come out flying today

I haven't seen as much of Casey as I would have liked this year but it's a little disappointing reading the weekly stats, in reviews like the VFL Player Review: Round 9 and other reviews from time to time how little involvement some of the MFC listed players are having in the team.

There appear to be a few who need to lift their games if they want to remain on the list. Liam Hulett appears to be one example.

Thinking of going but undecided, can anyone give me a good reason to venture to Box Hill?

It's the only place on this side of the Nullarbor Plain that you can go to and see a Melbourne football player in live action today.

If you get here early enough, the DL boys are putting on a fine performance. At half time they're 13.2.80 to Box Hill Hawks 6.7.43.

Awesome stuff. I should hit Box Hill Oval about 1.30, hopefully I catch the end of it.

Cool but clear day here. And they have E&B rolls on the menu.  Reckon I'll be forced to try one for comparison.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
