Poor guy, he just wants to catch up with his mates back home and have a few beers and a couple of smokes at a festival. He is 21 you know.

Partying Never stoped Cusins from being a superstar footballer.

I've been walking around in Richmond in previous years and seen Martin and Swan doing things like this during the season all the time.

Yeah, because its perfectly valid to compare a hard drug adict suffering mental health issues with a guy visiting his declining father and having a few hours off at a relaxed music festival.

Btw, was he "partying" and "having a few beers"?

Herpa derp. If he can't meet fitness standards then it's a problem. Until then it's none of our bloody business.

I've taken it very seriously.

I cannot see the issue, he got suspended, the club decided it would be a good time to send him home for 3 days, he visits his family, attends a concert with mates, has a smoke and will return to Melbourne and pick up training as per normal.

Is it a good look for a professional athlete to be seen smoking? Probably not, but as long as he returns fit I don't care. If all of a sudden he appears to struggle to run out games, then it becomes an issue.

Although I was [censored] that Hogan got suspended, I actually thought it was a good move by the club to send him home for a few days to visit family. If he gets suspended for something stupid again, then I run him into the ground at training as punishment, but I'd do the same to Vince and Lewis too.

Went from B and H Extra Mild to Peter Stuyvesant soft pack...'international passport to smoking pleasure'

My last ciggie I butted out was a Winnie Blue

Jesse? Smoker? Pffftt....he doesn't even look like he can do the drawback or exhale through his nose....soft!

Last time we won a flag blokes were having a dart and a sherry at 3/4 time, take it as a good omen. Personally I'm disappointed it wasn't a cigar.

Probably a reality check that half of the AFL players get on the darts from time to time.

You'd imagine it wouldn't have any impact on his fitness if he's having a couple once in a blue moon.

But I agree that it's a poor look.

I'm most  upset because just seeing Jesse with a gasper ( not Darren ) has caused me to rush out and buy a carton of Craven A's . And I've smoked half of them already. Damn it !

I'm not sure I find it funny, but it doesn't particularly faze me.

I'm absolutely gutted about Max Gawn's hamstring injury - that is a material concern.

Just done some Math

A pack a day smoker will pay between $150-$175 bucks a week assuming $ 25 bucks a pkt

Over a month that = $600- 700 odd bucks

Over a year = over  $ 7, 000,00

Over 10 years = 70 grand

Hnmm big bucks for a product that seriously halms your health and can kill you!

Now aint that info a breath of fresh air?

Just sayin
