Was stated on Triple M by James Brayshaw today we have something happening in regards to a BOJ sponsor.

Thats good news and good timing as Carlton's major sponsor has pulled out so they will be seeking a new one also http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/blues-face-1-million-black-hole-as-sponsor-pulls-out-20170510-gw20yl.html

As an aside, the sponsor was Career One which is associated with Andrew Demitriou...you have to wonder how much back room, 'quid pro quo' was happening in that deal!!  Any coincidence that he and Mike Fitzpatrick were heading up the AFL?  I don't think so!!

Great news. Good opportunity for a company to get on board with a rising team that has a lot of media exposure...

Have i got this right? The Government gives Career one (Training organisation) funds to run on, and they also give money to AFL.

Demetriou (Career One) pulls plug on money support to Carlton. So the AFL thinking about bailing out Carlton. IE Government money to Carlton.WTF.

The race is now on to identify our new sponsorship partner before its official ... might be better timed leading into a home game however

It might be way better to just have one irrespective of where the next game is played.

I've heard from a very reliable source 'Chris Judd's Grandma' that we are close to signing " @Bitter but optimistics jolly good floggin's " as our back of jumper sponsor, obviously this would be a huge coup for the club because not only does everyone enjoy a jolly good floggin, but it gives us a chance to reach out to supporters of other clubs who also enjoy a floggin', Collingwood supporters for example have one several times a day, the perks of being unemployable i suppose.

Well Collingwood supporters certainly are fl ogs Abe, however I must say, your mentioning Grannies in the same context as floggings is in very poor taste.

One does not fl og Grannies!

( Well .. perhaps on very special occasions )

carlton landed mercury cider for 7 years. They manage to get theres quickly.

So Carlton get yet another sponsor whose main delivery method is in a paper bag.

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc.
