Sorry mate, but I vomit in my mouth whenever I see trade suggestions as biased and one sided as this...from any supporter.

Where else would one vomit?

Well, for starters you 'vomit from your mouth'. Vomiting in your mouth is different to Vomiting. No?

Regardless of which club O'Meara nominates, GC aren't going to win on the trade. In the position they're in, I'd say they'd prefer players to picks. They'll still get a 1st round pick for Prestia plus our pick for Weideman. Collingwood do have some depth of talent, so it wouldn't surprise me if a package of Oxley, Langdon and 2nd rd pick would get the deal done.

Just remember what Geelong gave up for Dangerfield, because O'Meara's market value is about a third of the price.

Wonder if a straight swap with the filth giving GC De Goey would get it done?

With Adams, Treloar, Greenwood and Broomhead who was injured most of the year. The filth could almost afford to take that risk?

I just dont know how Collingwood would get it done. While De Goey is a good option I'd still feel I'd want more if I was GC. I need mids, so I'd want De Goey, I'd ask for Sharrenberg (injured I know, so would hope the price would be low) and then I'd be asking for 2 second rounders.

And Mo64 - O'Meara is not worth a third of the Danger deal. Danger is worth 2 first rounders and steak knives - O'Meara is worth an early first rounder and a big giant sweetner.

On natural talent, no, but Dangerfield didn't have the massive fitness question mark hanging over him like O'Meara. Dangerfield left Adelaide on good terms, and ensured that they got compensated. After what Tony Cochrane said, the O'Meara camp wouldn't give a rats about what GC get, and could readily walk into the PSD.

Collingwood will find it extremely hard to get a deal done without giving up a very good player,

Essendon on the other hand could simply just grab him in the PSD, pay him what he wants and everyone is a winner, well aside from the Suns but their stupid comments have cost them.

Gee i know rhis kid has some talent, but i am staggered of what they are asking for him. Surely now after the injuries etc and lack of games he is not worth a high first rounder and 800k. I would not be prepared to rake that risk. Happily welcome him to the bombers

Clubs that need an excitement surge, after poor seasons and having disenchanted fans, are most likely to be desperate for him.

The Pies are right in that category and will have cap room, with Cloke , Swan etc going.

Bombers are too, but they are getting several players back on more money, so not sure they will have the room, but of course they can make room.

Roos are clearly another candidate and with plenty of room.

However, to ruin my theory, the Saints are also rumoured to be into him.

Was told yesterday that he failed a medical test at North, but can't find anything online to support that.

Anyone know anything?

It was going around on Twitter about a week ago that he failed the medical, Ricky Nixon was one of the people posting about it.

Not sure if news from Ricky Nixon makes it more or less reliable. Interesting that this is the only thing out there?

Still, it's on the internet, so it must be true.

Thanks ET! :D

I haven't read or heard it from any other source. You'd think Barrett would have broken it as an exclusive by now if true (or someone more reliable than Nixon had tweeted it).

how do you actually pass a medical when you haven't played in 2 years?  He must still have the knee injury and there are never definites about full recovery.  A club will need to take a punt on him and Im glad we dont seem into him.

One great season, an average one and now no games for 2 years.  as sad as it is for him, it is possible his best is already behind him

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last
