You're boring.  You've missed the point entirely and also missed the fact that I said, twice, that I was disappointed in the game last week.  Doesn't mean I have to take a dumb stance about it.

I've  missed nothing. You just can't deal with truth. . Must be nice in your make believe World, what with all your excuses and explanations.

Collingwood did what we should have done. There's no reason we shouldn't have beaten West coast, not really

Explain, if you can where the ' dumb' applies.

The Dees are unfortunately a team who choked more than anyone would care admit.

This comes down often to resilience and coaching.  We are nowhere near where we need to be or ought to be right now.

You're such a frustrating poster.  We kick straight, we win.  Pies winning today means zilch and has no reflection on us at all.

For an 'old' poster you sure do post thoughts that seemingly come from a 5 year old with little knowledge of footy.

But we did not Wiseblood.

WCE were in front at the end and thay got the 4 points.

WE DID NOT WIN

I really don't want St Kilda to play finals but I would love to see Boomer lose his milestone match, especially after spending the whole week talking about how much he loves himself.

Now that thats off limits, there's still hope that Port can win 3/4, Saints all 4, the Kangas/Dogs lose 3 or 4 or Eagles lose 4. So little to be entertained by this year. trying to find something.

You seriously want to go to this club, Prestia?

Hope the money's worth it.

Prestia was never going to go to Richmond, but if there was any doubt, Exhibit A today.

Sneaky suspicion that the Dorks will get rolled in the finals. I know they've been great (yadi yada) but they're an injury away from unravelling.

As long as Geelong don't pinch another flag. I have a feeling whoever wins it this year will be a very ordinary winner. There's no real standout team this season. Yes, I know Hawthorn are two games clear on top, but they've played some ordinary footy at times this year.

Rance is a sniper when things don't go his way, this myth of him being a super guy is well over blown.

I still think there's a big chance we'll finish ahead of St Kilda.

Who goes first - Leppa or Dimma?

Leigh Matthews or Brendon Gale would have to go first if either of those two were to get the chop this year.

    CROSSROADS by The Oracle

Melbourne stands at the crossroads.  Sunday’s game against the West Coast Eagles who have not met the Demons at the MCG in more than ten years, is a make or break for the club’s finals aspirations.  That proposition is self-evident since every other team the club will be opposed to over the next eight weeks of footy is a prospective 2024 finalist. To add to this perspective is the fact that while the Demons are now in twelfth position on the AFL table, they are only a game and a half b

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi
