Look for someone else to kick a bag instead #melbournelyf

But he'll be playing against our 2's this week - presumably minus Dunny. Prefer he wait a week for other VFL sides to show how good he is against second rate defences

Is there a way to put you on ignore permanently?

I agree with PF . No infallible track record here and I have already presumed the post match presser should we come a cropper.

Dropping Jeffy whilst seemingly justified is  daft, especially when no  across the board consistency exists.

I think its a good move (Dropping Jeffy).

Shows him that he needs to maintain his high standards to hold his place.

I'll be very happy with selections if Grimes gets a run.

No way known would I have dropped Jeffy... Brave move Roosy, you obviously have got selection right all year!!!!!!!!!

Ohh wait a minute!????

Garlett didnt even try last week,  We may have won if we had someone else in his role that gave a toss.

'Tracca' this is a silly call by you. Regardless if we had Kennedy or even a Grimes playing his spot we still would have lost.

Having watched the replay we had far bigger issues then Garlett.

He played poorly but you cant accuse him of not trying. That's really poor of you.

Grimes playing at Casey again, unfair and dissapointing, he's been playing well enough to get shot at firsts. Obviously Roos and Goodwin don't rate him and will be traded at end of year

Rubbish call. He had a poor game, but he ran all day and gave more second efforts than golden boy Hogan.

Open your eyes. Yes, both of them.

won't be traded because he'll walk as a free agent.

i'm just not sure whether he's that desirable for any club,

May be heresy here but I hope Viney doesn't play on Monday. He's too valuable an asset to put in the team if there's the slightest doubt about the state of the hand. If he does more damage this week then Allah help us !!!!

    CROSSROADS by The Oracle

Melbourne stands at the crossroads.  Sunday’s game against the West Coast Eagles who have not met the Demons at the MCG in more than ten years, is a make or break for the club’s finals aspirations.  That proposition is self-evident since every other team the club will be opposed to over the next eight weeks of footy is a prospective 2024 finalist. To add to this perspective is the fact that while the Demons are now in twelfth position on the AFL table, they are only a game and a half b

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi
