So Rance's tackle wasn't a sling tackle according to Fox Footy because the ball saved Waites head from hitting the ground?

I don't think it was a sling tackle anyway but not for that reason.

This game is as appetising as a choice of shyte sandwich or  roast turd for dinner. Marginally in favour of North so at least we maintain a better ladder position over one of them.

Go the Daw.

Good work on starting the thread Bombay. I'll be more organised next week. Promise.

Geez Richmond won't have a bench soon

Game was over after 10 minutes.

Only one team came to play, some ordinary skills on display.

Hahaha, that was the most spectacular failure of a goal kick I've ever seen.

Selfish incarnate.

In what way was that selfish?  He had a clear path and took the kick... terrible kick, but definitely not selfish.

Hardwick might want to call the game off again...

Testing the waters on moving the Suns to Tassie, love it.

Suns will move to Cairns/Townsville and be known as North Queensland, wont move them to Tassie.

But you should get used to night games in Hobart & Launceston DC, Tassie will be the 19th team so they can reduce the season to 19 rounds (18 games) and extend the finals series.

And Bellerive Oval is one beautiful ground to watch sport from. Saw the Ireland v Zimbabwe World Cup match there back in March 2015.

Vickery was very happy with himself when he got his 2nd for a team that's 10 goals down.

He definitely couldn't have extended those arms out on both sides any further, looking for some love from his teammates. Such a twit.

I have only seen a little of this game, but OMG without being the pot calling the kettle black, we are surely far better than the Toiges.  Totally inept.  And they appointed Softwick for how many decades??

Brandon Ellis is really at the crossroads.

A soft outside player who doesn't work hard.

With Deledio their best ball user but can't get his own ball.

Roos worked him out and played Cross on him a couple of seasons back, the other teams have sorted him now.

The tattoo parlours will want their tatts back, the softest player in the competition at present...

I hope Hardwick keeps his job. An ordinary, ordinary coach. They have been going nowhere for five years now.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. We’re already a month into the MFC preseason (if you started counting when the younger players in the group began the campaign along with some of the more keen older heads)

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
