Majak Daw has improved as a Footballer however I beleive he would be best suited to a GC or Brisbane team. The Dees have and could do better.

Ok lets get him

Norf won't let him go now, even if we wanted him.  With Petrie gone, Waite almost cooked and Black looking to get out, they are left with Ben Brown... and Majak.  Brown was good when he had support around him, but without it and the best defender going to him, he got found out tonight.

No thank you

still a project player...... hope he stands the game on its head but we need a little more certainty at this stage.

On that note what did you all think of the Kangaroos departing Fab Four ?

I still like Harvey followed by Dal Santo... and Thompson (yes I know he is a Crow) was no slouch

Had to steal this from another forum.

Now he only has to maintain that for another 200+ games for the comparison to be meaningful.

Barrett just said he was looking at offers.

Oh God, I hope they're from North.

Would be a hilarious off-season if Norf threw out Harvey, Petrie, Firrito and Dal Santo, then Wells and Daw decided to throw in the towel and ask for a trade.

Don't forget Waite retiring, finally accepting his body isn't designed for more than 12 games a season.

As rebuilds go... it will be intense. Even after you clear all those guys out, they've still got Gibson, Thompson, Swallow, Higgins and Goldstein in their best 22 and over 28 years old.

Total of 138 games for players 22 and under on their list.

441 at Melbourne.

Anyway, back to Majak Daw. His best would be a very good addition on it's day, but on a week-by-week basis he wouldn't be in our best 22. I doubt we'd be interested and I doubt he'd consider us - if he leaves North it'll be for another club in serious need of talls. Other than North. Who will be in serious need of talls. Hmm.

Goldstein on the market?  Not for us.  Would be a smart move by North.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
