Heard on the grapevine today that he failed his medical. Not sure if it was with us or another club, but obvious red flag if true.

Removes the chance of blues getting 1st round compo pick if true but geez I feel for the guy

I'd heard he failed a medical at the Bulldogs and he was no longer a preferred option earlier in the week. Had medicals with us as well as other clubs since, so possible he failed medical at a second club.

Wow he must be cooked. Nobody will pay much for him now so if he leaves Blues have no chance of a high compo pick.

Time to steer clear.

I don't wan't to put up with another Mitch Clark (in terms of in juries that is)

Ox also announced on SEN that Kreuzer failed both medicals.

Oh dear $700k down to doughnuts....

This guy is a bit of a W anker especially after his bias comment regarding the rising star today but I do wonder whether he is just saying this to try and drum down noises and keep his bargain up.

Just to clear things up: Matthew Kruezer has not even had a medical anywhere, let alone failed one.

I know Sam and he wouldn't lie, but he does have a bias...

I guess we will find out when clubs come running or not in a few weeks time.

I reckon we have the second fwd, second ruck position covered with Peterson, Dawes and Fitzy. Would rather we add some leg speed and midfield depth.

Even if you morphed Pederson, Dawes and Fitzpatrick into one footballer, you'd get neither a 2nd ruckman nor a 2nd forward. If Kreuzer wasn't such a crock, I'd have him in a heartbeat.

Dawesy is cooked, Fitzy likely to get delisted and we don't know whats going on with Pedersens future.

No way.

He can sit on the couch under different colours.

Bryce Gibbs and him make Watts look like Carey.

Long-term we don't. Which is why I'd move heaven and earth to get Dixon here on a big contract.

Absolutey shocked!

(Even if it's not true, it'll be true)

Who is he and why should we believe him?

What sane list manager would pay more than $500k over 3 years for Kreuzer?

In no universe should that be band 1 compensation.

The way he played against us, he must have been juiced to the eyeballs!

THE ACCIDENTAL DEMONS by The Oracle

In the space of eight days, the Melbourne Football Club’s plans for the coming year were turned upside down by two season-ending injuries to players who were contending strongly for places in its opening round match against the GWS Giants. Shane McAdam was first player to go down with injury when he ruptured an Achilles tendon at Friday afternoon training, a week before the cut-off date for the AFL’s pre-season supplemental selection period (“SSP”). McAdam was beginning to get some real mom

RETURN TO NORMAL by Whispering Jack

One of my prized possessions is a framed, autographed guernsey bearing the number 31 worn by my childhood hero, Melbourne’s champion six time premiership player Ronald Dale Barassi who passed away on 16 September 2023, aged 87. The former captain who went on to a successful coaching career, mainly with other clubs, came back to the fold in his later years as a staunch Demon supporter who often sat across the way from me in the Northern Stand of the MCG cheering on the team. Barassi died the

We'll break down the Match SIM against North Melbourne and wrap up the preseason with insights into training and our latest recruits.
