This game feels like we’ve lost twice. The first time when we thought we were going to get belted by 100, and then the second time when we fell away during the 4th quarter. Melbourne players are certainly good at finding novel ways to crush our spirits.

I think a loss today will really teach the boys that you can’t play with no intensity for the first thirty minutes of a game and expect to win.

Loved a lot about what we did after quarter time, but that first quarter was inexcusable.

Yep final margin is quarter time margin. Shocking first quarter and some terrible decision making/turnovers AGAIN is what has cost us.

Promising team effort after quarter time but we cannot beat NM until,we have cleaned out a few more players and we learn to start games switched on.

Really should be beating them comfortably. Brown, Thomas, Waite, Nahs and Co are not good footballers, yet we allow them to look a million dollars. [censored] frustrating

I can't really agree. The first quarter concerns me FAR more than the last. We battled in the last and then fell away that 5% after the game became beyond reach, which is semi understandable. But that first quarter was inexcusable.
