My 12 year old son and I just love watching the work of Angus Brayshaw. His attack on the player and the ball is amazing. We've begun to just call him "The Bull". A wonderful mix of skill and aggression, and he is so no fuss about it. Mature beyond his years.

Hopefully we have 10-15 awesome years of watching this star.

Watching the replay. Who'd have thought I couldn't wait for it to come on :)

I feel like some players are being coached really well to play to their strengths. Wattsy has been given permission to get caught with the ball, because they know he's hard to bring down because he's tall, he can get his hands clear, and because his disposal is genuinely clean. As a result our players are learning to know he'll stand up in a tackle and to run off him. Created goals today because of it. Consistency and playing together will always make a better team, and we are only at the start.

So happy for the boys.

well

ANB =. The other small forward we needed.

well tyson was named in the best list at AFL .com so could have played alright then, nothing wrong with him.

I think 186 is dead and buried, it should never be said again.

Can't help but look back at the saints loss and as even bigger missed opportunity. Could have been a game outside the 8 going into the bye.

Still, feels good.

A very happy day. The Dees beat the [censored] and my daughter is about to give birth to a grandson. Not sure which I'm more excited about. Don't tell my wife I said that.

The whisky tastes good! A fresh bottle bought yesterday to wet the baby's head - not sure there's going to be much left. Ah well, there's always beer or champers.

It's a clear and balmy 4 degrees on the golden plains, cigar in hand, stars shinning in the sky.

I don't even give a [censored] about work tomorrow other than I'll be on the Geelong line Melbourne scarf and hat for all to see!

Could someone let me know how Watts was today?

Watts was really good again today. Makes the right decisions and rarely misses targets. And his physicality is improving.

It IS hard to believe. A very very rare talent. He is a one touch handler with no preferred foot. I particularly love that he lopes like he's stuffed, then BANG!, he's gone and the ball's suddenly in the forward line in a teammates hands. As pure a footballer as I think I've ever seen.

Good call.

Was talking to my Dees mad nephew after the game, and was trying to explain to him that I see Robert Harvey in Brayshaw. He had no idea, but was [censored] anyay, so all good.

I like the fact that Watts seems to have taken the next step with his game.

I liked the fact that in the last qtr when he slipped off a tackle he put in a second effort which affected the kick of Motlop (I think) at goal.

Was good to c and I am really encourage by his last 3 weeks.

Keep it going.

This is the point - they're beginning to trust each other & play to each other's strengths.

And Gawn has made a massive difference in giving us first use of the ball at clearances. Has a huge upside when he can run out a full game.

Going to have a big clash with NicNat.

I predicted carnage. And put $100 on Geelong.

Delighted to be wrong!!

Happy to lose the $100. (Won more than that betting against them the past few years anyway.)

Go Dees!!!!

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan.
