On the news tonight when they were saying about his future he was saying all the right things, but I have never felt as nervous to re-sign someone. No issue with that. The guy's 20 and wants to avoid saying something that may come back to bite him in 10 years time. It's cliche but you just don't know what's going to happen or how you're going to feel about the club, your financial position, or life in general so far in the future.

What I like about him is the following:

Seems to genuinely love playing footy

Works so hard

Is a natural aggressor and footy player not just an athlete

Show strong natural leadership

Shame we don't have a few more with the same attitude and desire for the contest

MFC have handled him very well so far. avoided publicity as much as possible with signing him up early. managed his injuries conservatively

Jesse would be thinking in 2-3 years of Viney, Salem, Tyson, Petracca, Brayshaw, Stretch serving goals up to him on a platter.
