Best re-signing!!!

Yep, best re-signing since Roos joined the club.

These 2 blokes are absolutely MASSIVE for this club, we were in a dark place.

Thanks PJ, I appreciate your work. You have saved this football club and I am grateful.

Still think PJ was/is more important. He was the one that persisted and got Roos. Just my thoughts...

I'd like to see PJ step it up from signing a year at a time but still very happy he has done so, he's definitely the man for the job.

My thoughts exactly. He's doing an amazing job, but like the coaching position we need to know where we stand long-term. It's great that he's agreed to stick around for another year, but the fans and probably hte players would love to know that he's either staying with us long-term or that there is another equally good person waiting in the wings to step in at the end of 2016.

I reckon he'll stay on until at least a year after Roos steps aside.

Roosy hands over to Goodwin at the end of 2016, i reckon PJ will stay on until at least the end of 2017 so as to avoid as much instability as possible, which would be greater if come 2017 we had both a new coach and CEO.

IMO Peter Jackson holds the keys to the MFC, he won't leave until somebody absolutely capable has become available.

No, I would agree, you are right. PJ was pivotal. He has been fantastic.

Very good signing, he has a lot of work to do. I like what we have done tonight with the breast cancer support.

If only we could perform on-field.

Best CEO in the game.

Those who tout Brian Cook have him there based on past glories, not current form.

I'd say he's the best CEO by some distance,

a measure of the change in quality of our administartation is how little we see/hear from them, they just pull strings in the background, i feel that's how a good footy club works.

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,

    GALLANT by KC from Casey

The world “gallant” is not one that is readily acceptable to losing teams in our game of football so when it was used in the context of the Casey Demons’ loss to Sandringham in yesterday’s match at Casey Fields, it left a bitter taste in the mouth.  The Demons went into the game against the St Kilda affiliated Zebras with the advantage of playing on their home turf (not that this has been a major asset in 2024) and with very little else going in their favour. The Saints have close to a full

    MEANWHILE by Whispering Jack

… meanwhile, at about the same time that Narrm was putting its feet on the accelerator to obliterate the long-suffering Euro-Yroke combination, I heard someone mention in passing that Kuwarna was leading Waalitj Marawar by a whopping 46 to 1 halfway through the second quarter of their game over in Adelaide. “What is football coming to?” I asked myself.  In front of my eyes, the Demons were smashing it through the midfield, forcing turnovers and getting the footy to their forwards who w
