There's nothing stopping anyone from the club scheduling a meeting with Howe & his manager to get around that. Bit of B/S by Roos if what you are saying is true. Roos has played games through the media before so he is probably just doing the same in this instance.

It was because he never plays in front and always wants to mark from behind. It's one of the reasons he's been a hopelessly inconsistent forward.

Work ethic, concentration, discipline & execution are also other negatives in his game. He is undoubtedly talented, but talent isn't all that counts.

For starters, nobody on here knows what his demands are, and they are only unreasonable if no other club is willing to pay it. That's how the market works.

As for how far the club has come, that's to be determined. Four year deal to Melksham and three years for Garland are excessive given their respective output in the past 2 seasons.

Unlike Watts, who is more value to us than to other teams, Howe is the opposite.

They see the high marking and neat skills and goals here and there and we can see through the mirage that is the rest of his game.

If we get someone who is best 18 from a Howe trade I am all for it because he would struggle to play next year IMO.

He wants overs and they won't pay overs. They also already have a quality forward-line.

Im happy for Howe just to go. The return will be whatever it is.

Now this is not because of any befuddled hate or contempt for the bloke . It's simply based upon the notion that the club is building a team that plays as a team. Its undoing the shambles of a collective of 'talented' players that in all reality play with no cohesion. Howe is just such a player.He plays a bit of a solo agenda. Hes not alone...or wasn't.

For mine i can't see a place for him in an effective team. Good luck and thanks to whoever takes him.

not at present,,, but howe is one of the damaged players.

There is a good chance that can be rectified at a club like Hawthorn. He is competative, but lacks enough enthusiasm with us, because of how he started in our culture.

We've had this problem for nigh on 20 years +.

he a willing competitor but is lazy at our club.. 'our nickname should include lazy in its description'.

in other words he doesn't exert anywhere near his potential can.

In a powerful club loaded with great culture & motivation, enthusiasm to push way beyond, is infectious... its like restrictions are lifted off...

..... ours has been like sheep following one another. when lazy & soft leaders set a tone, then no one really dares to venture far from that.

no, not a competitor is like watts last year.

Howey is a competitor, meaning he has it in him. But within our environment, he's never had to push himself beyond his comfort zones (lazy elite players) which would be higher that yours & mine. His ceiling is way higher than what his current output is.

Watts as well but he is yet to learn to battle physically as much as Howe's level.

Well, after reading the drivel from Ben Niall about how Jeremy has apparently been constrained by the MFC and its coaches from becoming 'elite', I would hope that Ben is telling the Suns that a straight swap for Prestia is overs and the Dee's should be better compensated.
