MFC injury list - 2015

"The Demons are waiting on AFL approval for the trip, which is expected to come later this week, and club football manager Josh Mahoney said it would be a good opportunity for the No.2 draft pick."

Why would they need the AFL's permission for such a trip?

Perhaps it is to do with the amount of time off a player has, this may bite into that.

I'll guess it's tied up with the salary cap, or more correctly, total player payments.

Trengove takes another step in recovery

Petracca to head to Philadelphia

Just so news on the MFC website about Trenners and Petrattack

I just did a quick Google search for Bill Knowles, who is mentioned in the Petracca article as the physiotherapist we want to go see. I came across a YouTube video of him at a conference in London. He seems to know his stuff.

Here it is, for anyone who’s interested:

I thought I was a troll for asking about Kent's hamstring injury (which was, and is fact)? I get confused by all the different things I get called here....

i actually agree with much of what you say on here, always have, and whilst your childish indignant nature never use to affect my time on here, I am now beginning to simply pity you. You should stick to football posts and let the other stuff go, because you actually have quite a good view point most often and it sucks for both you and the culture of Demonland that all the people that have/will have you placed on 'ignore', or simply just scroll past whatever you have to say without bothering to stop to read it, will never get to hear it. But you make your own bed, i suppose.

After Song posted a pic of Frosty's toe, I'm surprised his career isn't over!

I hope he has a stint at Casey this year.

Veteran Demonland Trackwatchers Kev Martin, Slartibartfast & Demon Wheels were on hand at Gosch's Paddock to kick off the official first training session for the 1st to 4th year players with a few elder statesmen in attendance as well. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Beautiful morning. Joy all round, they look like they want to be there.  21 in the squad. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025. 2024 Player Reviews: #31 Bayley Fritsch

Once again the club’s top goal scorer but he had a few uncharacteristic flat spots during the season and the club will be looking for much better from him in 2025. 2024 Player Reviews: #3 Christian Salem

The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence. The first round draft pick at #13 from twelve months ago the strongly built medium forward has had an impressive introduction to AFL football and is expected to spend more midfield moments as his career progresses.
