So...training was good?

By all reports, yes. Might even make the effort to get there myself, though I'm too ignorant to give a useful report.

Trengove is assisting with the coaching for Old Collegians in premier div amateurs. Still on crutches I believe, so a long way of from doing any running, but keeping involved in footy and midfield coaching with the blessing of both clubs.

I'm just appalled with the bad wrap Big Macs are receiving on this thread! If you don't like them, that's fine, but I won't sit idly by and watch you guys constantly stick the boots into what is a damn fine and tasty snack!

Move on!

SNACK?!

How much do you need to eat for main meals for a Big Mac to qualify as a SNACK?

are you sure you're not thinking of the great sesame seed bun fraud parable

No I am not sure ... it could well have been that one. Where is Lordweaver when you need him?:blink:

No need for a retraction, I cringe when I read that sort of stuff.

'Reaction' not retraction.

Was CB's one word post necessary? I doubt that the angst is over just that one post, but more over the number of times Saty's reports get shoved aside and the focus goes squarely onto his comments about something he might have said to a player for a bit of a laugh.

Was saty's question of JKH necessary? No, but no-one is condemning him for it.

All CB did was cringe.

A poster make a face and we are ruining another thread about it.

If some are to quick to diminish saty/The Devil Inside, then are we not doing the reverse jumping on CB?

Yeah, real Australian men have beetroot on their burgers, and swallow the pickle whole! :-) :-)

You can beat an egg but you can't beetroot...

Hope everyone is having a great day :)

Mods can you please move these BIg Mac Posts over to The Diet thread. Or maybe they should start up a Big Mac thread. I dont think they are going to be very relevant to the MFC while they are on the Paleo diet.

Why are people getting stuck into bing - all he said was 'move on.'

And so much angst over CB's one word post...

He can't post a reaction? It's not like he condemned anyone.I

I wasn't getting stuck in I was supporting him.

You know what you are going to get with Saty so I don't really understand the angst either. Love his work.

I buy a Big Mac because I like it but I always throw away the pickle. Maybe some should try the same with Saty's reports ? It's not that hard.

Fair to say you are easily Satyated.

Boom.

While I thoroughly enjoy Saty's training reports and appreciate it hugely as I can never get there myself, a comment like this:

"Had a joke with JKH about his musclebound physique, which he thought was funny, persuaded him to do a 'guns' pic, will be on Twitter, a good sport"

is weird and completely unnecessary. Imagine a grown man going up to a kid and asking for a picture of his 'guns'. That sends shivers down my spine.

If the bloke just stuck to giving us a report about how the boys went at training and nothing else then we wouldn't have these problems each time we get a training report. It's human nature to respond the way CB did as what he put was cringeworthy and, frankly, has nothing to do with training.

spot on.

Like CB I cringed at that comment. I could only imagine the players going inside afterwards and take the [censored] out of Saty behind close doors.

There is nothing wrong with hanging around a bunch of sweaty men in their prime, with a camera, and trying to spark up a conversation.

Robert Mapplethorpe made a career out of it and Max Dupain enjoyed it also.

Nothing wrong with it.

Keep up the good work Saty but please don't ask them for their phone numbers and stuff.

You know what you're going to get before you open Saty's training threads.

If you don't like the content then don't read them.

Some do, some don't.

Pretty simple really.....

Everybody is entitled to their opinion too, but lets not completely derail a thread which among others things is also very informative.

Next person who says something like this gets a slap in the face with a wet fish.

It is very frustrating when people are unable to grasp a point, so they resort to simplifying it down to a level where it doesn't make sense.

Lol, another Demonland thread descends into farce.

Saty's training reports and banter with the players is interesting, but must admit I cringe at the odd thing such as the JKH guns incident, but you just have to let it go through to the keeper.

I am waiting for a media release from N. Jones asking the burning question, Saty why the name change to TDI? I think that is the burning question the whole media sporting world is asking right now.

Gee it was a joke and JKH did it as such, he was a good sport, he favorited it on Twtter and so did the Club, some on here really do need to get out more into the fresh air, Jack Viney did the same with his 'guns' photo,.

Some of the comments verge on the ludicrous.

Some of the players take the [censored] to my face, Col Garland being the most recent example on Wednesday, but it is a bit of fun, and we all take it as such, coz we are all adults

They actually know I take an interest, especially in getting the injury issues correct, so I can ask and get an answer, including from Dave Mission

It is no wonder the players are told not to read sites like this if some of the comments on this post are anything to go by

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to
