Alternative strip for 2015?

They both look adequate. And should generate a bit of cash for the club too.

Ok, so which away games can we wear the red one that we couldn't just wear the traditional?

Carlton. Port.

Adelaide? Brisbane? Bulldogs? St Kilda? WCE?

I like them.

Anyone like to take a guess as to what games we'll use them in:

Red:

St Kilda - Yep agree don't see any problem with us wearing white, given the two clubs colours there will always be a clash of some type

Carlton - No issue makes more sense than wearing White against the blue

Meth Coast - Red can be worn against them

Essendon - rather see us wearing red against them than white and if the different size sash is enough to eliminate the colour clash between Essendon & Richmondthen IMO the standard red sash on a black jumper is not foing to clash against a side wearing an all red jumper with white shorts and red socks

Richmond - no clash with the Toiges here

White:

GWS - Don't see an issue with us wearing our traditional jumper against them

Freo - probably makes sense to wear white against them

Bulldogs - The dogs wore their traditional jumper as the away side against us last season, whats good for them is good for us

Adelaide - very little red in their jumper and with us wearing white shorts and red socks I don't see any clash if we wear the red option

Its got me ff..d why we need to wear white against any of those! If we wear the solid red that should suffice!

Be funny if they packed the 'wrong' jumpers for some of those games

Come game day, I wonder if Jezza will be able to find a blue one in the jumper bag without the paunch sewn into the front of it?

Yes, reserving judgement till I can see it during a game but it is a very fluorescent red in that picture...

Me too rpfc.

Might be a bit fluorescent but it is way better than the pink we suffered through not so long ago.

Also gives me joy the maroon is gone.

Now if we can just have a red and blue scarf this year I will be able to retire my ten year old one

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last
