You cant but help thinking Mitch's love affair with us ended around last year with injury #whatever....that fateful day.

Somehow it all ended then

You know, Im ridiculously fine with this. ( now ) Apparently he wanted out and ended up staying. Hindsight suggests maybe going then was a better choice but we are where we are.

I dont care much for the smoke and mirrors ( read bullshlt) thats carrying on now.

Its like a relationship where you girlfriend's still in the flat til she finds new digs.

Trade week cant come quick enough

Clark had also done some photography for Jones' wife (does fashion). Connections there above and beyond footy ...

And the way most demons supporters have reacted to the speculation an exceptionally bad sign?

Or at the very least, may have some influence on his decision as to how he moves forward?

Heard from a very good source - my third to say it - that it categorically was not depression that forced him out.

Also said that club is appalled by his / his manager's behaviour.

That leads to the obvious question..........

Can you (your source) clarify exactly what it was?

Hard to see any way back for Mitch from here, or even that the club would want him back.

You'd have to be concerned for his well-being.

Yes, and no, he was not prepared to confirm (nor deny) what I had heard from a different source.

And what did you hear from another source?

c'mon andrew, you can't leave it at that

if you can't be too specific then i'm sure you can give more of a general idea

IMO Roos doesn't think Clark is mentally fit to play a role in 2015.

I think for Mitch Clark to come back and command attention - just further feeds into his mental illness.

I personally believe that Mitch Clark has now taken a step back in his rehab.

He does clearly have an illness and it's perhaps more serious than MFC first thought.

Lloyd is right in that it is all about compensation for MFC.

Just on observation on Clarks behaviour lately, I'd lose respect for Roos if he couldn't see the forrest from the trees.

Thankfully Paul Roos is ten steps ahead of all of us, maybe not 10 steps ahead of Ross Lyon, perhaps we should listen to Ross though.

Eddie Spaghetti just said on fox that "he doesn't know if they are interested in MC"

My god he is a pathetic DH.

His nose grew when he was talking by the way!

It's all a bit sad.

Still have him play on for us...

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
