you think its great when theres no line when you decide that buying a 40 dollar dried out red rooster role would be a nice little treat for such a dour event.

Planning Holidays to warm parts of the Earth are a doddle when one is a Melbourne supporter.

Since i have been away we have won 0 games...nothing...Doughnut.

And people still say 2014 is an improvement!!

you have not watched a Dees game with a friend who doesn't barrack for either team playing, if you are watching with a friend who does barrack for the opposition team, He comments during the game "do you actually watch this sh*t every week" usually during the 1st Q.

You try and identify which games are worthwhile seeing for your up and coming kids.... (GWS game.....*cringe*).

You can't bring yourself to delete the Carlton, Adelaide, Richmond and Essendon games on your Foxtel IQ, even if you have run out of space, just for those times when you need a pick-me-up

You constantly ask

How did we beat those teams?

You constantly recall '87, the early 90's, Jakovich, the up and down years with the Reverend and reminisce with such fondness.

You are slowly running out of positive phrases to tell your kids when they ask "which game can we actually sit there and enjoy knowing we are a really good chance to win as all we want to do is sing It's a Grand Old Flag with everyone else?"

You can find positives in just about anything... we only lost by 10 goals, player X hit a target, Jack Watts layed an effective tackle, it's a good draft year, the jumper looks more red this season...

You give away great seats to a Bruce Springstein concert so you do not miss round 1 (2013 Melbourne vs Port Adelaide).

You have mentioned that before Jane. The experience has obviously scarred you. You may find catharsis by beating your husband, who, if memory serves me correctly, follows the filth.

Ha ha ha ha ha

We will be basking in those re-runs over the summer when a fix is needed. Cant wait to have one a week to watch that will cover most of the off season

Rubbish article. It says hold the Range Rover jokes and then proceeds to name 2 of them in the 19, plus 3 classist jokes. Same old, same old. I'd like to read an article that discusses the character building attributes of being a MFC supporter.

BBO - I definitely need therapy regarding this - I tend to hold onto things. My husband also wanted to see Collingwood play that night and if memory serves me correct, they lost as well.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the scorching morning heat to bring you the following observations of Wednesday's preseason training session from Gosch's Paddock. HARVEY WALLBANGER'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Absent: Salem, Windsor (word is a foot rash going around), Viney, Bowey and Kentfield Train ons: Roy George, no Culley today. MATCH SIM: Friday 7th February 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded. Christian Petracca, Kade Chandler, Shane McAdam and Tom Fullarton doing non-contact kicking and handball drills on the adjacent oval.  All moving freely at pace.  I didn’

    TRAINING: Wednesday 5th February 2025

Demonland Trackwatchers were out in force as the Demons returned to Gosch's Paddock for preseason training on Wednesday morning. GHOSTWRITER'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Kozzie a no show. Tommy Sparrow was here last week in civvies and wearing sunnies. He didn’t train. Today he’s training but he’s wearing goggles so he’s likely got an eye injury. THAT WAS THE YEAR THAT WAS: 2024

Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was. After its 2021 benchmark premiership triumph, the men’s team still managed top four finishes in the next two seasons but straight sets finals losses consigned them to sixth place in both years. The big fall came in 2024 with a collapse into the bottom six and a 14th placing. At Casey, the 2022 VFL p
