GAME DAY - Round 22

Probably yes, but countless equivalent infractions against us go completely ignored. It's pathetic the armchair ride some teams get.

Hawks getting raped as well tonight because the umps protect Geelong at all costs.

Hey, don't want to make a fuss or blow it out of scale, but really best not to use 'raped', y'know?

Keep in mind this performance comes flat on the heels of a performance our players themselves described as "unacceptable." If this is the response after being embarrassed for the umptineenth time, then where is the pride and self respect?

Where are we supporters supposed to find the passion to keep doing what we do when the players don't want to do what they're supposed to do?

I honestly would love to see a stat for the number of times a player loses his feet, I reckon Jack Watts would comfortably be the league leader.

He would defeat any able-bodied human being on the planet in that particular statistic.

Jack Watts: World Champion Faller-Over.

Yeah, why should I turn up every week and pay for it, when our players don't turn up when they get paid to do it?

I'm so sick and tired of supporting this club. I thought I would never feel as bad as I did last year, but this is a whole new low.

Autum leaves was what we called it.

After LeCras kicked that simple simple goal, you could see that James Frawley has just had enough of this shite. Throws his hands up in the air as if to say "I'm out."

Has anyone else been noting Frawley's performances lately with a kind of accepting sigh, and thinking "Well, he's not our problem any more"?

Email that in to the club, disgusting we contribute good money year after year and get this [censored] served up to us, at least under Bailey we tried to kick goals.

How often do our players run to one side when trying to tackle? Am I the only one who remembers the old method of aiming right at their hips?

Really not much to comment on in that quarter. We were diabolical, the umpiring was remarkable and the Weagles at least understand that you need to put the ball in front of a forward if they are going to mark it. One great play from Watts doesn't undo the crap he's dished up for the rest of the match. Fitz and Gawn both missed sitters. Michie continues to show hardness and game sense, Viney less so that quarter. Lots of nonsensical play from the rest. Fumbles are still costing us badly, perhaps none more so that Dunn's admittedly difficult chance at HB.

Pretty much since round one when we lost to the Saints, then solidified the last time WCE thrashed us by 100 points.

Good to see we've made absolutely no progress throughout the whole year as we back that up tonight with another 100 point loss.

We learned nothing when we played to GWS for the second time this year. We learned nothing when we played the Bulldogs for the second time. We will have learned nothing from our loss to Norf, that'll be abundantly clear next week.

The only thing worse than Melbourne tonight is the commentary team of Brereton and Shaw. Our football is disgraceful, but I won't even try to put my view of those two into words.

HEAVEN OR HELL by The Oracle

Clashes between Melbourne and St Kilda are often described as battles between the forces of heaven and hell. However, based on recent performances, it’s hard to get excited about the forthcoming match between these two sides. It would be fair to say that, at the moment, both of these teams are in the doldrums. The Demons have become the competition’s slow starters while the Saints are not only slow to begin, they’re not doing much of a job finishing off their games either. About the only th

    THE BLOW by Whispering Jack

Narrm’s finals prospects took a crushing blow after the team’s insipid performance at Optus Stadium against a confident Waaljit Marawar in the first of its Doug Nicholls Round outings for 2024.  I use the description “crushing blow” advisedly because, although the season is not yet at it’s halfway mark, the Demons have now failed abysmally in two of their games against teams currently occupying bottom eight places on the ladder.  The manner in which these losing games were played out w

HALF FULL by KC from Casey

It was a case of the Casey Demons going into a game with a glass half full in their match up against the Brisbane Lions at Casey Fields on Saturday. As the list of injured and unavailable AFL and VFL listed players continues to grow and with Melbourne taking all three emergencies to Perth for the weekend on a “just in case” basis, its little brother was always destined to struggle. Casey was left with only eight AFL listed players from who to select their team but only two - an out-of-form

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have returned to the site of their drought breaking Premiership to take on the West Coast Eagles in what could very well be a danger game for Narrm at Optus Stadium. A win and a percentage boost will keep the Dees in top four contention whilst a loss will cast doubt on the Dees flag credentials and bring them back to the pack fighting for a spot in the 8 as we fast approach the halfway point of the season.

    WARNING by William from Waalitj

As a long term resident of Waalitj Marawar, I am moved to warn my fellow Narrm fans that a  danger game awaits. The locals are no longer the easybeats who stumbled, fumbled and bumbled their way to the good fortune of gathering the number one draft pick and a generational player in Harley Reid last year. They are definitely better than they were then.   Young Harley has already proven his worth with some stellar performances for a first year kid playing among men. He’s taken hangers, k
