lol @ Richmond players prancing around like they are any good

Too bad we arent playing them next week to put them back in their place again

They are absolute hacks playing against a team that is literally not even trying

You know you are a bad team when you make Vickey and Hampson look good.

At least from Scully's perspective he'll have enough cash to cover that pathetic "wrestle." (Are players still fined for wrestling?)

Tiges go from 6.18 to 14.2 in consecutive weeks.

I'm really enjoying watching Scully play in this game. I reckon he couldn't care less because it's not about winning it's all about the $$$$.

I have never seen a back six give their opponents so much rope and such little body contact. As funny as it sounds, GWS were all over them in te first quarter, but couldn't convert and Richmond just took the chances the lacklustre GWS defence was giving them. From then on, GWS have given up and Richmond are full of beans.

They never had a chance. If there's one certainty in football, it is that Jack Riewoltd will kick goals just as soon as it doesn't matter anymore. That said... oh Giants... that's just getting embarrassing.

Maybe they will have to bring in Andrew Demetriou to run the place, since so far he's the only person who has 'won' them anything.

Sigh, I spent a couple of months up in Sydney recently and I have to say the atmosphere at Giants games was cheerful enough. Small but happy crowds who were quite cheerfully aware that any win was an upset and that for now it was just about enjoying the potential and individual performances. And of course, the win over Sydney had them well excited.

But this... as we all know, massive losses when you're expecting to see improvement and competitiveness really suck the fun out. And the Giants will only have crowds at all for as long as it is seen as fun.

Jack Riewoldt. 5 marks, of which all five are inside forward 50m. None of them contested. Debacle.

What the? He has a running bounce to his name?

7.19 one week

18.3 the next

That's the importance of pressure.

Clearly match fixing

Who has turned their kicking around this week?

Dwayne informs us that the crowd is silent. No crowd=No noise.

You'd be [censored] if you were one of his teammates who was on far less money, despite being a far superior player which most of them are.

You'd have to laugh at Leon Cameron wouldn't you?

Jeremy Cameron starts off in the backline and Heath Shaw on Jack Riewoldt? Absolute [censored] imo.

Gws would have been so much better off if they just did the right thing by choco Williams and he was in charge

Shame about the draw , i wouldve rather have played Hawthorn, Geelon, Freo and Port in those early rounds.

We play saints and GWS now and we win.

Hope they implode. Was destined to fail. It was all about Vlads ego. Wouldn't listen to advice including from Roos that it would be a hard sell. Also Sheeds has a lot to answer for. Can't say I'm sorry. The Scully decision must be biting them in the bum. What a joke he's a million dollar player. Doubt he's one of their top 5 midfielders - run with player at best with no penetration with his disposals.

Gees schadenfreude I feels good.

Expansion sides are always going to have alot of young talent but the suns recruited players to set standards and examples for them the giants have failed because sheedys ego meant he had to do it his way and it hadn't worked.

I found it funny too, trying to stick it up us when we actually won the Scully situation, they got a million dollar [censored] and we got Chris Dawes among others.

like ablett laughed at GCS when they offered him the keys to the safe?

like ablett laughed at GCS when they offered him the keys to the safe?

jazza I think there is a big difference

Ablett had won premierships and B and F's etc he had done it all, to him GWS was the big pay day.

Frawley gives every indication that he wants to play in an winning team including finals, now a salary increase would not hurt but if he goes to GWS I will be amazed.

Besides a bigger wallet the only thing he has to look forward to at GWS would be more of what he had at the MFC in 2012 -13

This is the main reason i consider Vlad's tenure of the AFL to be very poor.

It is such a waste of both huge amounts of resources and cash.

If Scully wasnt on one million per year he wouldnt even make their team

But, but, he's such a great trainer and so professional, so he's definitely worth the money. Hahhahahahahahahahahah, sucked in GWS

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
