Can anyone tell me where the ignore poster button is? I'm absolutely itching to use it.

Click on your own name in the headline. The drop down menu will be self-explanatory.

Can you put yourself on ignore?

I think that's a paradox.

Whoops, I will be ignored if I keep this up...

Post-Neeld.

Structures.

Gerard Healy is bad.

Paul Roos good.

Phew. Saved it.

What good would that do? You'd just be ignoring yourself. Everyone else could still read what you have to say.

someone said earlier they think this forum is poorly moderated

No, it is just under-moderated

i think this place has only 2 mods. Needs to be a few more otherwise every thread will continue to be filled with garbage and arguments and go off topic and be unreadable

Reckon there is a bit of Simon Goodwin or Scotty west about him, great find

Christian Salem is no more less or no more impressive than Jordie Gysberts in the beginning.

I'm just as excited as anyone about this kid, just trying to personally keep a lid on it, will be tough..

For those of you who will say he's tougher than Gysberts you're probably right, but Gysberts was impressive in other ways, so im not directly comparing them

I just want those journos who criticized this trade to eat their words.

I think it was Kingy who defended the trade on 360 a few weeks back, rightly stating we needed two great players more urgently than just one potential superstar player.

I see Salem and Tyson as 250 game players with as much potential as Kelly it was two for one, even if Kelly is the best of the three all three are going to be A grade players and we got two of them and it cost us one

Dermie also said the same a few weeks ago on league teams.

fwiw I heard Dermie just prior to Round 1 saying, having been a part-time specialist coach at GWS, that Dom Tyson would be the best recruit any team got their hands on over the break.

He lauded Tyson's maturity and dedication to getting better.

Said there's no way this kid won't make it.

Obviously Tyson's form has dropped as the season has gone on, but it looks like Dermie might be right.

Good luck with that one.

Because he won't be able to run out four quarters just yet. Roos' initiation with JKH was spot on, and he should continue with Salem.

Don't be surprised if Salem's out of breath by 3QTR time.

Reminds me of Hodge. Which I think was one of his pre-draft comparisions IIRC

I need to put up my hand and cop a slice of humble pie. I voiced my concern about picking Salem over Nathan Freeman and Luke Dunstan. But he has been nothing but super for us this year. His pin point delivery and poise is such a delight to watch. While Dunstan will be a good player, Freeman is currently struggling in the VFL.. could you imagine the wrist slashing lol

I love how he took Franklin on last night and surprisingly managed to get away from him. I would love to see him push up into the midfield but i don't think we will see that till next year. Leave him where he is now he is developing just fine. He add grunt and hardness his decision making is top notch.

A midfield combo of Salem Petracca Brayshaw Tyson Viney Stretch ANB and Toumpas looks quite formidable in years time.

HARVEY WALLBANGER'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Absent: Salem, Windsor (word is a foot rash going around), Viney, Bowey and Kentfield Train ons: Roy George, no Culley today. MATCH SIM: Friday 7th February 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded. Christian Petracca, Kade Chandler, Shane McAdam and Tom Fullarton doing non-contact kicking and handball drills on the adjacent oval.  All moving freely at pace.  I didn’

Demonland Trackwatchers were out in force as the Demons returned to Gosch's Paddock for preseason training on Wednesday morning. GHOSTWRITER'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Kozzie a no show. Tommy Sparrow was here last week in civvies and wearing sunnies. He didn’t train. Today he’s training but he’s wearing goggles so he’s likely got an eye injury. THAT WAS THE YEAR THAT WAS: 2024

Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was. After its 2021 benchmark premiership triumph, the men’s team still managed top four finishes in the next two seasons but straight sets finals losses consigned them to sixth place in both years. The big fall came in 2024 with a collapse into the bottom six and a 14th placing. At Casey, the 2022 VFL p
