Come on Dees, lets turn Spotless Stadium into Blood Stadium!....As for you Tom......

I can see the boys going in really hard today only to tire from it all in the third or last qtr and subsequently get overrun by the Giants.

If we can improve our F50 entries and hit a few targets we might be in with a chance.

If we only score 4 or 5 goals again I'll be extremely disappointed.

Few careers on the line today i reckon.

Certainly hope so.

this bloke{pr}isnt afraid to draw lines through names.

he already dropped the lazy one from last week and will continue to do so.

but some posters here mistake reasons for being dropped.

making a skill error is not a problem ,most coaches accept we all make skill errors.

but laziness, inability to get to the contest.lack of cohunas and a few other reasons are what get players dropped.

and this bloke WILL sort them out.

Exactly! Obviously something happened to these young men when they were in their infancy. It could have been during their breast feeding days or perhaps their first coach in their junior days made them play with a scoreboard.

You haven't even begun to scratch the surface there Sigmund.

Underperformance is part of our psyche.

We neded 40 couches and thousands of hours to get to the bottom of our issues and lack of trust in each other as teammates.

Their relationship knows only failure- they struggle to help each other due to a lack of faith.

No changes to either side.

JKH the sub again.

Will either play a full game or be dropped next week to play at Casey then. Only a certain amount of games can be played as a sub before match-fitness deteriorates. That seems to be the pattern, anyway

Form as well as fitness.

Although he did get close to 3/4's against St Kilda and significantly more than a quarter against the Eagles. Still find it strange they haven't thrown him is for a full game against the young giants.

Viney for Michie - inside mid/forward. Evans for Trengove - wing. Kent for Toumpas - half forward with stints on wing. All seem very similar roles. Possibly Roos gets creative and swaps Howe for Dunn but besides that I don't think there will be significant changes to game styles. It's just about executing it now as we did in patches against the saints. Even against the Eagles besides the standard first quarter demolition there were small moments of mercy in the remaining 3 quarters where we managed to be in the play. Hopefully we take the positives and for once show enough mental fortitude not to just roll in to old lazy bad habits.

JKH needs to play a full game because he actually runs to space.

But he wouldn't be running to space after half time cos he'd be spent. Sub is a good role for him til he has a better tank.

I'm bypassing (nasty word that) the beer today and have decent Shiraz breathing. I also have a less decent one on hand if the game goes totally to shite.

you better get a old piece of rope to chew on fella.

and its raining in sydney, now were a chance.

He won't improve his fitness playing a quarter or so of a game.

That's right, he'll improve it the most at training and during the next couple of preseasons.

So what happens if we get an early injury and he has to come in to the game? If he's not fit enough then he should really be at Casey and someone like Blease should come in.

Yeah cos Blease has an awesome tank....

Yeah cos Blease has an awesome tank....

1) It was an example

2) His tank would be better than JKH's

Remove Blease from the post and the point remains. If he's not fit enough to run out a game he shouldn't be in the side, sub or not.

Same old same old the team is a disgrace and it seriously needs some players to give more This team is going out backwards

The endeavour shown last week was weak as..

The loss against the saints still hurts because regardless of what happened last week if we have one win on the board we could still hang our hats on that. But now it's same old same old.

I think we're a decent chance today but it depends on the mindsets of both teams. Melbourne has to find a way to believe again, and it wouldn't shock me if GWS start with a poor attitude thinking they've got this won.

Welcome back Viney.

Seems to be a theme happening here.

Are you guys subtly suggesting we change our name to the old Essendon name of yesteryear??

Frawley to play FF.....Hmm interesting. I like it

Positives:

- Tall option

- Don't have to worry about his kicking out of the back half

Negatives:

- Jeremy Cameron

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
