GAME DAY - ROUND THREE

.....and our percentage will be?

Low...

Lowest score ever looks good here..

Maybe we wont kick a goal..

The rain isn't helping either side, but when you have a makeshift forward line and already poor disposal, rain just kills anything you can develop from defence to attack.

Last 10 minutes of play, inside 50s are 11-1.

Apparently, we haven't had a goalless half since Round 5, 2009. Surprised by that tbh.

Is paul roos the only person In the world that thinks chipping the ball around the wings with no intention of ever kicking inside 50 is a good plan to win footy games?

Just don't touch it Terlich. Every time.

Why did we sign Evans for three years?

Why is Evans even playing?

If GWS get another goal, will make it pretty hard for us to come back.

Ha! Tim Lane just said eggzactly that...and he was serious!

We get the ball on the run outside 50, we had a great opportunity for a transition, but Evans gets the ball and, once again, turns it over, despite having options.

Typical of our list. Evans, Terlich, M Jones, Pedersen, Grimes, McDonald. All playing backwards of centre, all can't kick.

I'm guessing he wants them to learn not to waste the ball when going inside 50, so with no proper forwards there are so few chances for a meaningful entry.

This is rubbish ... what us Roos teaching them. We are worse ... unbelievable.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
