I don't mean for this thread to turn into a clash jumper debate, as so many other threads here have already debated the clash strip, but looking at the Demon Shop on the MFC website, I notice that we have not advertised a clash jumper for 2014. The new NB jumper has been added, showing the new collar etc but still no clash.

I would have thought that if we were sticking with the same design NB would have already knocked a sample up, it wouldn't be that hard. So does anyone else see this as a sign that we may indeed be changing strips for 'clash' games this year?

Personally I hope we are as i loathe the predominantly white strip, but thats only my opinion and as I stated I am not interested in debating the merits of the white strip as such.

I don't think there will be change.

Maybe they are just trying to get the non-colour right...(IWUAEHIIUE)

And besides, that presser with AHG had a few of the boys in the new strip without the collar, and one was definitely the white heritage jumper.

Lol

End thread now if you don't want a debate.

Rumour has it that the designer of our new clash strip is short listed for next year's Australian of the Year.

I've been informed it will be changed for the 2015 season, that is the likely reason why it's hard to purchase.

The club and New Balance will have it designed and submitted by May this year - the cut off for 2015 designs.

I say for a clash jumper we change the dark blue to a light sky blue and in the process sell the club to Man City and be rebranded Melbourne City Demons and um yeah I'll stop now.

nothing personal against you DemonFrog but any jumper that has a red sash reminds of Essendon....i hate Essendon.

True a blue one would be better.

I love MessyDrugs at the moment as besides us who else has/had such bad leadership it will nearly kill off their own club?

Those Turkeys just keep on surprising me LOL

looking at that picture reminds me of one aspect of clash outfits - SHORTS

The NRL the A-League (and others) allow non white shorts for the "light coloured" clash strips

as too this picture shows

one of my problems with afl clash strips is the insistence on white shorts

when you couple this with a predominately white jumper the overall result is more like caspar the ghost

i would (grudgingly admittedly) give a bit of ground on clash strips if we had the option of coloured shorts

opinions?

Red shorts look terrible. Our options are minimal.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to
