Different thing if it was a young kid with something to give in the future but Scotland is near to finished (not to mention he fails on the no DH front as well).

That being said, how does he get on to the Carlton rookie list? I assume he has to nominate for all three drafts. I know nobody else will bother taking him other than Carlton, but it's a hell of a way to have to go just to keep playing for the club you already play for.

Nothing to do with affording, he'll still be on decent cash but Carlton needed him to change over to have enough list movements on draft day. He'd still be on 200-250k on the rookie list so there's no way we'd touch him.
