Er, because our club screwed up and after yesterday we might need a QC or two...again.

Wouldnt that be a bitter blow, i wonder if Schwab has found new employment yet, what a wonderful CEO he was and a great contributor to the MFC.

Well, I am glad you can see that his heart was in the right place.

Do they seriously think anyone at MFC could possibly have taken performance enhancing drugs????? Really???? We should be asking for our money back. I think we will get a slap for not reporting the Dank link when initally asked ut from previousl released info it seems the link to Dank was via the Doc inaccordance with protocols. My bigger worry is if the EFC players get infraction for AOD use Trenners will as well if it can be proved he used the precribed cream.

Well I believe PJ and I don't think he would get himself into a role that could see him embroiled in this sort of disaster.

I am sure the AFL assured him it'll be smooth sailing for our club if he took over.

What ASADA does is a different story. We have no control over that.

However we were never implicated in illegal substances. You can bet that if we were, the AFL wouldn't have so easily dropped our name out of the 6 month investigation.

I have heard from a reliable source within the AFL how this will play out.

We will be subjected to a 6 month investigation.

At the conclusion, our lawyers and the AFL lawyers will agree that there is no evidence of any wrongdoing.

A former sacked employee will then come forward and tell the investigators, that he heard an MFC employee joke about getting some antifungal cream for a player's tinea.

That will interpreted as code for a banned drug. This will be despite a doctor's certificate for the player's tinea on examination by him.

We will then be charged with bringing the game into disrepute.

We will be found guilty and penalized as follows:

1. All officials of the MFC in all areas, suspended for one year.

2. We will be banned from the next finals series we make, whenever that is.

3. We will be excluded from the next 3 drafts completely and banned from trading back in.

4. Any decent player in the AFL who considers coming to the MFC, will be banned from doing so.

5. We will not be allowed to play on the MCG for 5 years.

6. We will be banned from selling memberships and having sponsors for five years.

7. Any player who can kick or handball with the slightest accuracy will be removed from the club.

8. We will have to have Barry Prendergast back as our recruiting officer for the next 10 years after our draft penalties.

9. Only Neeld or Bailey will be allowed to coach the club for the next 10 years.

10. Lucas Cook will be brought back and played at FF for the next 5 years.

11. Jesse Hogan will be given to the Blues with us paying his salary and the same for Nathan Jones to the Bombers.

12. There will be absolutely no free kicks awarded to MFC players in games for 5 years unless a player is rendered unconscious and taken to hospital as a result of the incident. The opposing team will be allowed to appeal this decision to the nearest security guard.

Further penalties to be advised.

You forgot to mention that at the outset of the investigation Caroline Wilson will demand that the bootstudder and the doorman be sacked.

And what do they show??

If its a clean accurate and reliable record then it might help MFC.

However, I understood its been established that no one was aware that Dr Wolf was consorting with Danks and arranging.

The records would seem to be useless from a goverance perspective if no one knew about them or reviewed them.

A big file with bad Chris Connolly jokes??

3AW: Demetriou says it's been "absolutely" confirmed that AOD-9604 was administered to Essendon players.

If ASADA/WADA then decide to issue infraction notices to Essendon, I reckon we're in trouble to. There is a very good chance we also administered AODee to our players.

So what do you basis these statements on?

Links or evidence please.

Dank is the gate keeper (stating the obvious I know) in all of this. Administering players with what the clubs thought were vitamin injections where in actual fact Dank had much more sinister ambitions. This is why he remains quiet - he is severely corrupted and mentally impaired and will go a row when found out. Essendon gave him and the Weapon far too much leeway and are now paying the price for (lack of) governance issues. Hird was unbelievably gullible at the start and then most likely got the same power bug as Dank at some stage before it all came crashing down earlier this year.

Thankfully the Dee's handed over all dealings and it appears were only dabbling in vitamin injections before Dank tried on a more supercharged concoction through Bates. I reckon the AOD cream was his way of introducing the drug to players.

I'm confident we're safe.

It's not PJs disaster.

Neither the AFL nor PJ would have been under any delusion as to MFC being smooth sailing. In a short time, PJ ha overseen the exit of the President, half the Board, the Coach, list manager and has sort a $3million bail out of the Club. Which bit is smooth sailing?

And then there is ASADA..........

We haven't been implicated because we haven't been investigated yet.

You've been posting for 7 months how Essendon and the Essendon players are all going to get off!!!

Slight difference I have said "get off lightly"

No penalities yet!

The difference is it is documented what Trengove was given.

The bomber is all guess work.

PS Show me a post were I said Essendon Admin and FD were going to get off?

    GOLDIE'S METTLE by Meggs

On a perfect night for football at the home of the Redlegs, Norwood Oval, it was the visiting underdogs Melbourne who led all night and hung on to prevail in a 2-point nail-biter. In the previous round St Kilda had made it a tough physical game to help restrict Adelaide from scoring and so Mick Stinear set a similar strategy for his team. To win it would require every player to do their bit on the field plus a little bit of luck.  Fifty game milestoner Sinead Goldrick epitomised

    REDLEG PRIDE by Meggs

Hump day mid-week footy at the Redlegs home ground is a great opportunity to build on our recent improved competitiveness playing in the red and blue.   The jumper has a few other colours this week with the rainbow Pride flag flying this round to celebrate people from all walks of life coming together, being accepted. AFLW has been a benchmark when it comes to inclusivity and a safe workplace.  The team will run out in a specially designed guernsey for this game and also the following week

    REDEEMING by Meggs

It was such a balmy spring evening for this mid-week BNCA Pink Lady match at our favourite venue Ikon Park between two teams that had not won a game since round one.   After last week’s insipid bombing, the DeeArmy banner correctly deemanded that our players ‘go in hard, go in strong, go in fighting’, and girl they sure did!   The first quarter goals by Alyssa Bannan and Alyssia Pisano were simply stunning, and it was 4 goals to nil by half-time.   Kudos to Mick Stinear.

    REDEEM by Meggs

How will Mick Stinear and his dwindling list of fit and available Demons respond to last week’s 65-point capitulation to the Bombers, the team’s biggest loss in history?   As a minimum he will expect genuine effort from all of his players when Melbourne takes on the GWS Giants at Ikon Park this Thursday.  Happily, the ground remains a favourite Melbourne venue of players and spectators alike and will provide an opportunity for the Demons to redeem themselves. Injuries to star play
