Why was Howe Ommited for the game against the Suns?

I know hes been traveling somewhat underpace lately, but he could of been an important tall man to kick to up front.

Takes the odd grab but very limited in ability.

Been hopeless most of the year, we have been looking for a leader, and has not put his hand up.

Geez we are quick to eat our own. At the start of the season most were saying he was one of our most important players. He hasn't been the worst. Dry up you lot

Yeah that was BEFORE he did nothing for about 10 weeks in a row, which part of this don't you understand

frankly I don't understand how our supporters turn on their players so quickly.

all they are doing is stating the facts as they are

i couldn't give a rats what the facts are. It's been a [censored] season and Howe has been better than plenty. Perhaps he's been injured for weeks

Yep

Why is it that we cannot except when our players are playing poorly?

We have been beaten badly in most games this year

That screams we have had a lot of players who have played poorly.

IMO Howe has had a poor year.

As you say just facts

Then why as he been played?

I agree with demanoid. yes he has been quieter, but the whole teams been very poor.

C&B your being a bit harsh on both howe and demanoid.

howes a very good player. the teams in a rutt, give it time, he will be a star.

what don't you understand about a list of players who are simply pathetic and lazy at this level? we turn on the players because they are the ones who do not perform to the basic standards expected of AFL footballers. Frankly I do not understand why the MFC has so many pea heart supporters who do not get very angry at the state of this football club. If Geelong or the Eagles played this poorly everytime they took the field their supporters would be waging war outside the club.

I would love to see what a good coach could do with Howe.

But in the end it's Howe who has to get there.

I still want Ryan O'Keefe.

I have no desire for another Robertson, as fun as he could be at times.

In reality this is the case with anyone, very poignant.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
