We will improve even more under Roos.

Geelong/Sydney production line = A1 coaches who get the best out of their players.

Nothing wrong with Craig, players are driving without the handbrake on (Neeld)

I think he was putting 91 into the Reality Bus when it was needing diesel.

A win is a win and ill take it.

But let's be honest the dogs were crap for 3 qtrs and smashed us in the last... Why we couldn't stem the bleeding was a worry.

I liked the style of footy we played, and I hope it continues.

Few points:

Watts is as good as people said he was, 4 goals and a match winning mark... I've been waiting for this.

Nicho played really well but as someone said Griffen finished with 2 last qtr goals and had his own ball out there...

Fitzy will come on, he is starting to find his feet...

Lastly a win is a win but I hope that they can identify why they couldn't stop the dogs in the last.

It’s a grand old flag

It’s a high flying flag

It’s the emblem for me and for you

It’s the emblem of the team we love

The team of the Red and the Blue

Ev’ry heart beats true

For the Red and the Blue

And we sing this song to you (What do we sing!)

Should old acquaintance be forgot

Keep your eye on the Red and the Blue

So good to have a win. Go Dee's!

My take tonight is the Neeld Melbourne would have been beaten comfortably, Under Craig, we dominated and the bulldogs pulled out all stops to beat us and we hung on.

its a big difference.

We looked a totally different team to the one ive seen under Neeld.

Neeld would have been happy with a 5 goal loss.

Gawn was shot in the last and Minson and the dogs mids sensed it. They just ran forward of the ball and it all started from there.

Gawn was stuffed and Frawley had to Rev him up just to get him into the centre Square for the bounce.

I reckon we should be absolutely stoked. we beat a real team, not a development team. Fantastic to get the win and beautiful first three quarters. Jack Watts won us the game to be honest, mark in the last quarter, 4 goals wowweeeeeee

assess during the week the last quarter fadeout

Did M. Night Shamalan write that game thread.

Like going inside the head of self-loathing schizophrenic.

Happily we played three quarters of footy. Enjoy it. Wins are hard, whether you come from behind or stay in front at the death.

I agree, they experienced getting run over without actually losing.

North would have lost. These things become a habit. We held on against a massive tide. It may have been luck but it is important they feel they can do it.

Just lost the priority pick.

We dominated that game, but for the final quarter.

Would've necked myself, and possibly a few others, if we lost that one.

I feel numb. But relieved. And maybe even a bit happy.

Nah, 2 or 3 wins this season??? still very much priority pick prospect. We could do with one.

I agree. A win is a win. If we were a good side we could afford to be apathetic about, or even disgusted with that win, but we're not.

It is what it is hey. I'm just calling on everybody to chill out.

I know i am repeating this as it needs to be said again as he has attacked a dee hard nut.

Tony Shaw is a FAR#KNG butt face

He accused NJones of dropping the knees and diving forward when he got he free kick inside 50.

Don't worry about the 2 other players on his BACK you doppy, ill informed, overrated spud nuckle.

U r a disgrace

happy with the win,but its a thing with our players, they seem to take the foot off the pedal after a good patch in every game, after we kicked three goals in a row in the last and were up 44 points, our player start slapping each other on the back, then we relax as a group, this happens every week.

    FROZEN by Whispering Jack

Who would have thought?    Collingwood had a depleted side with several star players out injured, Max Gawn was in stellar form, Christian Petracca at the top of his game and Simon Goodwin was about to pull off a masterstroke in setting Alex Neal-Bullen onto him to do a fantastic job in subduing the Magpies' best player. Goody had his charges primed to respond robustly to the challenge of turning around their disappointing performance against Fremantle in Alice Springs. And if not that, t

    TURNAROUND by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons won their first game at home this year in the traditional King’s Birthday Weekend clash with Collingwood VFL on Sunday in a dramatic turnaround on recent form that breathed new life into the beleaguered club’s season. The Demons led from the start to record a 52-point victory. It was their highest score and biggest winning margin by far for the 2024 season. Under cloudy but calm conditions for Casey Fields, the home side, wearing the old Springvale guernsey as a mark of res

It's Game Day and the Demons are once again faced with a classic 8 point game against a traditional rival on King's Birthday at the MCG. A famous victory will see them reclaim a place in the Top 8 whereas a loss will be another blow for their finals credentials.

    BOILED LOLLIES by The Oracle

In the space of a month Melbourne has gone from chocolates to boiled lollies in terms of its standing as a candidate for the AFL premiership.  The club faces its moment of truth against a badly bruised up Collingwood at the MCG. A win will give it some respite but even then, it won’t be regarded particularly well being against an opponent carrying the burden of an injured playing list. A loss would be a disaster. The Demons have gone from a six/two win/loss ratio and a strong percentag

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an
