Such a shame he can't play this year! looking forward to putting some money on him to win the rising star next year by a mile.

I don't post very often, however I picked as soon as we got hogan in the mini draft that toumpas was part of that deal...... Let me say more than 2.5 years out that I believe as soon as hogan is out of contract he will ask for a trade to Fremantle. In the next 2-3 years they will have pavlich, sandilands and mcpharlin out of contract. Those 3 players would represent more than 2 million in their cap... They missed out on Clark and Cloke they are desperate to find a big forward and he will be the man,,,,,,

Maybe so but with all the negativity and bullish!t going on at the moment how about some positive thinking.

If he goes he goes. All we can do is foster his love for this club by showing him we are turning it all around. We do this by getting our club admin and FD in order and developing our kids and some savvy recruiting.

Lets focus on that even if it seems an eternity away.

give him a reason to stay and he might... besides... they will target ppl over the next 2.5 years to fill those potential voids. 2.5 years is a long time in football.

Buddy franklin is from WA and stayed, i understand we aren't Hawthorn, but it isn't a hopeless situation.

We have a mountain of actual problems to think about. We don't need to add to it with pure hypotheticals. There's every chance we could be an entirely different side in a couple of years and Hogan will be a chief contributor and leader.

One would hope that with the AFL getting involved with the running of the club (Evans appointment for 6 months to ruthlessly review the way the club operates) that by the time his contract is up at the end of 2015, we will be winning games of footy and he'll want to stay. Lucky he isn't coming out of contract now.

I love the club, but we are at rock bottom, largely by our own design. Having the AFL step into help is the best thing that can happen.

It's best to temper expectations. Just think of Glenn Lovett cruelled by injuries in his prime / Schwarta's knee/s / Scott Thompson's return to Adelaide .

Jonothan brown is a victorian boy, mathew pavlich is a south Australian, buddy is western Australian, none of the above have requested a trade to date, and we have plenty of upside with some good young players, the ability to play on the MCG 10+ times a year and very deep pockets in terms of cap room,

not going to resign to the idea he will up and leave first chance he gets just yet.

Surely this would have been something Neeld and the recruiting Team would have wanted to be confident about before the decided to invest so much time, resources and early picks on this young fella.

glass half full anyways.

the sheer strength of this guy is insane, even when you don't look at his age

He is going to make a lot of seasoned AFL defenders look very silly next year

Even if they did want him by then they would have to give us like pick 1,2 and 3 for him (I think there would be competition for a J.Brown jnr).

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
