I don't post very often, however I picked as soon as we got hogan in the mini draft that toumpas was part of that deal...... Let me say more than 2.5 years out that I believe as soon as hogan is out of contract he will ask for a trade to Fremantle. In the next 2-3 years they will have pavlich, sandilands and mcpharlin out of contract. Those 3 players would represent more than 2 million in their cap... They missed out on Clark and Cloke they are desperate to find a big forward and he will be the man,,,,,,

To quote Peter Landy, " we are in more trouble than the early settlers". We will loose draft picks this year and next and we can forget about Ollie Wines. I recall with the Carlton sanctions they were announced only a couple of days before the ND. i can see us banned from the draft this year and we will have an big $$$$$$$$$$ fine. In many ways it is good we traded all of our good picks for players (apart from 4) and we have a top 5 pick coming in next year. I am not sure where that will leave our list management with gaps in our list. I dont think we will be able to delist any other player as those players will have to supplement our list...

I am still of the belief they have done a deal with Toumpas. That is why they gave away pick 13, there is no other logical reason as they had no interest in viney, so GWS will pass on JT Can lay london to a brick GWS will go 1. Whitfield 2. Grundy (in need of a young ruckman as they missed billy longer last year) 3.Plowman/O'rourke. ( they are in need of big backs= plowman)

i can 100% g/tee that a deal was done with regard to pick 13. it makes no sense that melb would give away pick 13 as well as 3 for hogan. my belief is that melb has struck a deal with GWS where melb will get the player of their choice at pick 4. Whether that is toumpas, o'rourke, or anybody else. my bet is that toumpas will be in a melb jumper if thats who they want.
