Ok, we'll maybe it may take a bit longer for an announcement? How long ago did he tweet that? Lets just get it over with!

Incredible that after 7-8 months of this bullsh!t it's finally coming to head. Whether it's a conclusion or not......

yep agree, take the deal

And what would that be? The AFL can suck off. No investigation or punishment of those who went before us means no deal.

Who knows, this might be just the beginning?

Sometimes you gotta know when to make the deal.

In spite of all fairness, it may be the best outcome we can possibly get.

(Whilst I'd like to do it, I don't think dragging this through court will create the best outcome for the club)

Why court?

The next logical step is taking our case to the Commission. The pros and cons of this should, and probably have been, discussed by the board.

Didn't we reply to the report by the investigators??.......The commission then deliberated ......and the results will be known at 2.00pm today.....It is then up to the club to appeal to a court of law if they don't think the decision is fair.....I might be wrong on this.......

Why so?

I remembered you were supporting Fans B-Bobs views of wanting to accept the sanctions & handover our people to the executioner.

Now we are further along the track & the AFL have moderated, & the papers are turning towards our perspectives (interestingly since the AFL have moderated their views).

The 'Team Fan', who wanted us to shed blood within,,,, are now easing off, & 'Fan' suggests he knows who the louses are. If true, I can only assume Fan has an inside channel to the AFL contacts, or to some on our own board with the inside goss.

This would explain him playing the politics & also supporting Kero. a faction within?

It's come to this then?

“ You got to know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em,

Know when to walk away, know when to run.

You never count your money when you're sittin' at the table,

There'll be time enough for countin' when the dealin's done.

If this is really about integrity then the AFL must announce a new Inquiry on tanking across the entire league

Anything less will be a damning indictment on the credibility of the AFL

You know i'm right

You know i'm right  '

I will hold all bets for " yes we are conducting an investigation into Carlton, Richmond, Collingwood, WCE, and GWS'.

I am offering odds of 100 to 1

There is no way we will take this thing to court.

If we have negotiated this "reported" outcome then we will not be taking anything to court. We would have taken it on the chin like we always do. Sit Demon Sit ... Good Dog.

MATCH SIM: Friday 7th February 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. THAT WAS THE YEAR THAT WAS: 2024

Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was. After its 2021 benchmark premiership triumph, the men’s team still managed top four finishes in the next two seasons but straight sets finals losses consigned them to sixth place in both years. The big fall came in 2024 with a collapse into the bottom six and a 14th placing. At Casey, the 2022 VFL p
