How many years have we spent on him? Five? How many (positively) memorable games has he played? Five?

The only way he could bulk up would be.....????? WADA should look at him if and when he does.

Ahh the West Coast Protein Milkshake does it again!

Cousins is back at West Coast?

Worsfold is a qualified pharmacist.

Makes it even more ridiculous that he claimed he had no idea the players were on the gear.

Worsfold was part of those successful premiership teams that blossomed overnight - similar to those Chinese swimmers....

Apparently he was a good man to have around if you wanted to build muscle or *sniff had a cold.

i know it's a good joke but do you really believe worsfold was/is supplying performance enhancing drugs?

No, of course not...just adding some bs to this ridiculous topic that's citing CM a champion and WC as premiers.

Morton has the chance to make some on here eat their words.....

He looks bigger, but not by much..... He will get a lot bigger and stronger...... and in two years he will dominate....... there will be people on here crying, then blaming the FD.....

He has more skill than he is given credit for on here......

Cale Morton & the words Skill & dominate do not compute. He belongs on a fail compilation of sorts.

He will be delisted after one season is my bet.VFL or WAFL at best.

WC are back to being a fairly strong listed club on paper...Morton will be playing at peel Thunder by seasons end.

No offence Tatu.

East Perth for the Meth Coast recruits and Peel for the Dockers.

I believe he may play a role though if Embley is injured. Can't see him standing out but you never know confidence is a big thing and whilst not possesing the mongrel required enough of their side does and he does have good skills when his confidence is up

Morton has skill, but it's ALL outside.

Terrible decision-making, but good skill. Unfortunately for Cale, that means that more often than not, his disposals are terrible.

Contrary to what's said here, Morton's not useless.

He just doesn't fit into Neeld's strategy. And that's okay.

I wouldn't be surprised if he does well with WCE.

Either will I. His confidence was shot under Neeld. He will make it.

Under Neeld?

Maybe under Bailey.

Morton improved steadily playing under Bailey, but wasn't good enough to keep him in the side.

Cale had ample opportunities under Neeld.

Listen to the interview he gave early last season to Matt Burgan.

Cale was pumped. The only person who shot Cales confidence was himself.

Steadily is an interesting choice of words.

Tectonic plates move steadily too I guess..

Stop being a Drama Queen, the odds of Cale dominating for West Coast are very high.

Comment seemed to get a few here but does make sense. High odds indicate low probability. low odds indicate more certainty

That's about the pace I was thinking of, but he did gradually improve.

To say his confidence was shot under Neeld is, I think, disingenuous.

But one thing that tectonic plates do have is enormous strength and power, and no man can stop them. Not sure about them having confidence or not though.

Cale Morton (midfield) $305,600

There’ll be a few people tempted by the returning West Aussie, who showed he was capable of posting the odd reasonable score at Melbourne.

But Morton looks set to begin the year a fair way off the Eagles’ best 22 and could take time to work his way in. At this price, he’s not worth the pick-up.

See its not only us.

PS . I do apologise for opening this up again.

Now remind me again.

We got pick 88 for him and we used their pick 88 for???

Thatt's right we didn't use it.

That is still better value than Cale. No bigger spud has ever played 70 games for the Dees.

cale has all the talent in the world but the first two years where he played 20+ games in each totally sucked his confidence. you could visibly see it drain away.

once he gets it back it wouldnt surprise me if he turned into a decent player.

That's incorrect.

We traded pick 88 for Rodan.

Sort of. Pick 88 started and ended with us. We gave 88 to Port Adelaide for David Rodan. Port gave it to West Coast for Lewis Stevenson. West Coast gave it back to us for Cale Morton - we were the ones who called "Pass" on that pick on draft day. Pick 88 was basically cancelled out and it amounted to a three way trade between us, West Coast and Port.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the scorching morning heat to bring you the following observations of Wednesday's preseason training session from Gosch's Paddock. HARVEY WALLBANGER'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Absent: Salem, Windsor (word is a foot rash going around), Viney, Bowey and Kentfield Train ons: Roy George, no Culley today. MATCH SIM: Friday 7th February 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded. Christian Petracca, Kade Chandler, Shane McAdam and Tom Fullarton doing non-contact kicking and handball drills on the adjacent oval.  All moving freely at pace.  I didn’

Demonland Trackwatchers were out in force as the Demons returned to Gosch's Paddock for preseason training on Wednesday morning. GHOSTWRITER'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Kozzie a no show. Tommy Sparrow was here last week in civvies and wearing sunnies. He didn’t train. Today he’s training but he’s wearing goggles so he’s likely got an eye injury. There’s a drill where Selwyn literally lies on top of Tracc, a trainer dribbles the ball towards them and Tracc has to g

THAT WAS THE YEAR THAT WAS: 2024

Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was. After its 2021 benchmark premiership triumph, the men’s team still managed top four finishes in the next two seasons but straight sets finals losses consigned them to sixth place in both years. The big fall came in 2024 with a collapse into the bottom six and a 14th placing. At Casey, the 2022 VFL p
