WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CAMERON PEDERSEN

Karnezis. Personally, I don't think he's a priority.

KPFs and mids, mids, mids.

Well we need someone to help Clark in forward line, his always getting double teamed cause the opposition know we have no one else to kick it too.

If we miss out on Dawes and or Pederson I can only conclude that , alas we again are totally incapable of clinching deals which give us some hope!

Shattered yet again?

And please don't bring up an unproven Hogan!

Are you serious? The club has been kicking butt this week. And we did damn well out of the last trade period too. The Mitch Clark deal gives me much more than hope. I know the people in charge can, will and are making a difference.

Yeah here's a link to his draft bio and some highlights... he looks solid and I rekon would be a handy addition to our team. Seems to have speed, looks like a decent kick, the highlights don't show him so much as a lead up forward but with his height, size and mobility i think he will be a real asset to our forward line.

Haha yeah because Dawes or Pederson are going to lead us out of the wilderness. Dawes will provide structure for a year until we can get Hogan into the side, I've never even seen Pederson play. I wouldn't want to give a top 20 pick for either of them and it's not the end of the world if we don't get them. If worst comes to worst we can chuck Stefan Martin down there for a year and see if he's worth keeping beyond 2013.

I have no idea why people haven't 'ignored' picket fence.

This poster offers nothing other than the pathetic negativity that is MFCSS.

He is just a concern troll.

A Demonland/Ology Iago that shouldn't be bothered with.

I keep hearing in the rumours and on the news that we are very close to making the trade happen for pedersen.. but thats all. Never hear any details?

Does anyone have any further information?

I think Pedersen is a "little rock" that will be traded once the "bigger rocks" are in place. I.e if we get Dawes we'd likely pass on Pedersen, so we wait till Dawes and Gumby decide where they are going before potentially looking at Pedersen..

I think we are waiting for the Rivers decision, and then our ultimate FA Compo..

North will want a pick around 30-35 for Pedersen, but they are dreaming. I think he is a good 2nd/3rd fwd or backup option. Is behind Tarrant,Hansen,,Petrie. But if Hansen goes, then North may say he is "Needed"

MFC will consider 3rd round offer around 45-55.

IMO we have to wait until we know what's happening with Mrrin, Gysberts, FA compo to see what we will offer.

The Roos also look set to part company with ruckman Hamish McIntosh and tall utility Cameron Pedersen during the trade period, with the club likely to reach deals with Geelong and Melbourne respectively.

Interesting.

Cruise Gartlett wants out, Hansen yet to be re-signed, as is Warren, Edwards and McKinley. McIntosh out, Pederson out. Sounds like a clearance sale.

Anyone know much about Gartlett?

While I have sympathy with the sentiment I don't like this kind of post.

Let others form their own conclusion.

A friend of mine who sponsors the Roos says the players cant wait to see the back of Pedersen.

Good player but a loose cannon of the field & not committed to the same cause.

Who does your friend sponsor?

Agree with your last bit Fence. Pederson could provide the assistance needed in the forward line next year, then move back into defense and help sure up CHB when Hogan comes in.

He is the same height as Frawley and is 7 kg heavier, so is definitely capable of playing as a KPP.

Is that a rant picket??? what a pathetic word rant is. I would call your post honest. nothing more nothing less.

If thats a rant, the world is sicker than I thought. and no wonder our club is in the Poo.

I couldn't help but reply to this after Deeluded quoted it.

My issue is not with your passion, nor your criticism, nor your free speech.

We all have our concerns with how things have been, how things are, and how things will be. We are all Demons with varying levels of time as Demons.

Your fundamental right to say what you feel is tempered by the fact that this isn't the public square, not that anything you have said is offensive or overly derogatory, but it is matched by my right to inform others whether your I believe your input is worthwhile.

No-one here is in postition to judge another on their bonafides as a Demon, all I judge posters on is whether their posts are constructive to an argument or a discussion. We all detour from time to time, but I have found your positions as almost universally negative and excitedly pessimistic to the point that they take on a despairing quality.

I initially thought this was deliberate as the internet is littered with what are known as 'concern trolls' whereby a person who is not of the forum attempts to 'inflame' the forum by touching nerves and poisoning discussion - but 'concern trolls' don't post what is quoted above.

So I apologise for calling you a 'concern troll' but my opinion of what you post stands. Please take this as a constructive post, I don't get on here to get into heated arguments as much as billy, or Hannabal, or AoB, or Fan, would claim I do.

That's it - end of whatever kind of post this was.

It really looks like Pederson will be a Dee,all the mail is that he is coming to us.

If we get Dawes or Gumby as well that will just be a bonus.

Really want one or two experienced mids though, but I'm sure they will come in the form of Ray,Rodan or Garlett.

Plus Wines or Toumpas, and we will be right, done and dusted.

Pedersen would be a very good get. IMO the MFC are waiting on other deals to see what picks we can fit into the frame. I think a pick in the order for 45-55 gets the deal done with Pedersen.

He is physically ready.

LIVE AND LET DIE by Meggs

The Demons’ impressive late season charge to finals will most likely come unstuck this Saturday evening when the Bombers blow up the also-ran Blues in the Ikon Park double-header.   To mangle McCartney, what does it matter to ya? To have any chance to play next week Narrm has got a job to do and needs to do it well.  We’ve got to give the Pie sheilas hell, say live and let die! It’s Indigenous Round for this game and the chance to celebrate and engage with Aboriginal and Torres

Failed to fulfill the promise of his breakout six goal effort against the Tigers in 2023 and was generally disappointing as a key forward. Sadly, had to wrap up a great career in midstream on the back of multiple concussions which culminated in the Maynard hit in the 2023 Qualifying Final.
