He's been very ordinary this year, is 95% gone, maybe I should have used sarcastica as my font...

All that said, the lynching of him has been pretty disgraceful, even by Demonland's standard

what is the etiquette for lynching actually ??

I saw Moloney and his mannequin shopping for CDs down Chapel Street yesterday.

He's a better chance of moving to Pyongyang than Adelaide.

Pyongyang's not so bad if you can get in with the right crowd, and the water would have to be better than Adelaide's...

Hahaha.

Must be one of those retro shops.

Great bloke. Has bled red and blue for 6 years up until 2012. One bad year and he is gone.

Rewind to the end of 2012. B&F club champion. He spoke about how you can play for the club or ^&%#$% off.

How fickle we are? Is it a club ... or a business? Don't complain about Scully etc if you offload Beamer after one poor year. Aaron Davey has had 3 shockers !!!

Who's offloading him? Unless he's been told there is no space for him on the list then it'll be his call.

Are you a politician because that is what they DON'T do as well.

They DON'T research.

They DON'T think.

They just guess at some thing logical to say which is usually wrong.

Well pea brain if you haven't worked it out it's my opinion :)

Neeld said himself that the game has caught up with Moloney and that is why his game has suffered. If he does go we should get top notch compensation as he was our B/F last season so that should force them to give up something big :)

The whole club failed this year, it's just 'Land where people have their "favourites".

The same people that bag out the media for sticking the boot in are the first to have more than their fair share of cracks at Beamer, Watts, Spencer, or Schwabb.

There comes a point where you just say, yeah ok I get it, you think they've underperformed, but they're part of OUR team and to put so much effort (and even occasionally joy) into denigrating these guys is an embarrassment to the rest of us who are trying to balance being realistic, fair, and passionate.

No Stuie. Beamer is in the middle. He is our play maker at the centre bounces. If he fails..others fall.

He has been given every chance by the coach to get it right.

What's your point? Moloney is responsible for the total failure of the team this year? Ridiculous.

Did you notice we were still rubbish even when he wasn't playing?

Fair crack mate. Keep it realistic at least.

Hope the B&F is held AFTER the trade period (don't think it is).

If so, for the AFL's "formula", the last B&F results they have to go on are much better than what we'd expect this year.

Last year the compensation for losing Moloney = 2nd round pick.

This year = 3rd or 4th round pick.

No he is not totally responsible, of course not. But it is his job to get first use of the ball. This has not happened in 2012. Thus the team is instantly under pressure.

Fairly realistic the way i see it.

Not realistic at all.

Almost EVERY player failed in their job this year to differing degrees. Sure Beamer had a horrible year, may not play for us again, but the amount he has copped here compared to others is totally out of wack.

You just don't get it.

I think the game has changed and the role he played is not longer available.

Sad but sometimes players get left behind.

This club has to take hard decisions or we will remain at the bottom.

I actually think Moloney wants to move on

so there probably won't be a decision for the MFc to make.

I also think he has over time given his all for the MFC.

He deserves a chance somewhere else if that is his wish.

Good luck BM you gave the MFC your best shot

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
