This is how good this guy is.....at half time, despite the fact he was a sub, Watts had more DT points than Izzy.

Well done AFL, $1 million well spent.

Would get a run with us the way we're travelling.

I think potshots at the opposition after that absolutely shizen performance are misdirected.

Disagree. We won and he is shite so they are spot on.

For the money they paid for Folau and scully they could have picked 3 or 4 others who would have given them far greater value.

Folau just looks like he doesn't want to be there, and Scully is one the most over rated , over paid, footballers in history.

How much are GWS actually paying him? It's all AFL money funding Kevin Sheedy finally getting to coach a farcical code-switcher after the Dwayne Armstrong experiment failed.

The AFL is footing much of the bill for Folau - I don't think that he's too much of a burden on their salary cap.

kinda feel sorry for izzy. hope he puts in the hard yards in pre season and show improvement just like k hunt did

why feel sorry for him? he has chased money his whole professional career, all in the name of funding the Mormon church. he is the one who decided to leave the storm for bigger money at the broncos and despite being the second highest paid player there decided to ditch the game he grew up loving and playing to chase even more money, this time in a code that was completely foreign to him. mercenaries such as folau deserve every inch of scrutiny they bring onto themselves

He is really good - could anyone of us get paid that much by putting in so little? That takes real skill! ^_^

anyone else get annoyed that Sheedy defends him with some wierd ar$ed sheeds logic in the post match, referring to everything and anything that is unrelated to his attitude and performance yesterda, even trying to compare izzys first 11 games and saying that they would be comparable to Franklin and Jonathon Browns.

Then the reporter goes onto Greene, and all of a sudden, he reverts back to the normal "yeah will be a star" shallow type stuff.

TBH I much preferred listening to Neeld and how he talked about Howe in the post match, than the mindless mutterings of Sheedy.

Quite right D2 Folau is an ambarrassment to the code.

The question is how shyzen are we if we can only beat the Giants by 25 points with that spud in the side?

Not like you to be negative Jack.

We dominated possession and inside fifties' in very windy conditions and doubled their shots at goal.

May I remind you of round 12 when the Tigers def GWS by only 12 points.

You are accurate in your use of the word spud however. :)

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
