So what crowd do you think will rock up at Etihad next week. I reckon around 10,000 or just a bit over. Im not expecting a big turnout.

Will be interested to see how we go next week. We never won at etihad under Bails and im sure Neeldy will address our issues at the stadium.

12k or similair to the wce game last year. And I reckon we are a sneaky chance with so many coming back in in some decent form!

Also they better not close the top deck cos realistically its the only good seat at Etihad!

After the 30 melbourne supporters that rocked up against richmond wo knows? Maybe 10 people might go to this game?

If we crack 16000 I will be impressed, and this is the AFL's fault for giving us home games at this crap hole.

Melbourne marketing team should've been working around the clock to think of ways to get people through the gate. Discounts on sponsor/club apparel, $1000 big screen pick out comp, free hat (for those South Park fans here!).

The team isn't giving us much of a reason to go, so the club should be thinking creatively about this one.

I did not realise it Biffen but you must also believe in the Father Christmas, the easter Bunny and the Tooth fairy.

The crowd on Saturday was 46 700 and at least 26 000 of those were Tigers

If the crowd is above 12 000 at death park I will be amazed

16,000-18,000. Melbourne supporters just simply do not like Etihad. We`ve done pretty well so far to break even with 20,000 against GWS at the MCG, this is the AFL`s fault no doubt. Somebody burn Etihad.

I'll be there with my son and two grandsons one of who celebrates his sixth birthday on the day of the game.

I hope some Demon fans turn up to keep us company and the team duly wins for the lad's sake.

Perhaps Freo could organise the orange rent a crowd who GWS use for a crowd and dress them up in purple.

I agree with you wholeheartedly, but I've also got bad news for you - MFC sent out an email a couple of months ago and it said top level would be shut.

I'll say 12k - if we could get 15,740 last year post-186 I'd be appalled if we were 3k under that now even if Freo bring less fans than WCE.

A routine Melbourne basher at work says he thinks it will be the lowest turnout at a game in 30 years. Since its at etihad he is probably right.

I reckon we'll beat the crowd of 6875 (GWS vs West Coast) comfortably! By 'comfortably' I mean 9/10000 through the gates!

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
