Jeremy Howe

Howe has x factor and i expect him to get better , maybe much better

What he has to watch is his decision to go for the big mark or not as he is quite good at ground level

While a mark is best , second best is keeping the ball in that forward 50 not into an opposing players crumbing hands especially if it his direct oppnent

Definatley looks a forward but where ?

Neeld has some thinking to do

Clark , Tapscott, Green , Jurrah , Davey , Cook, Fitzpatrick , Howe , Sylvia , Watts , Morton , Pettard , Bate and Martin etc are all IMO fighting for a foward spot

Clark is a lock as we didnt recruit him to pay at Casey

Really enjoy watching thsi guy

Has a bit of Greg Parke about him

Robbo, with far far more common sense, accountability, team orientation and defensive skills and attitude.

Could be a really big thing, and a huge bargain.

Could be a mid, or a decent tall fast marking forward.

Currently in my mind he's a player who takes hangers, kicks behinds and makes shit decisions when he gets it in the middle of the ground. Probably doesn't deserved to be picked on but he's frustrating me.

Surely other deserve more scrutiny?

Those that wait for a player to be covered before they handball to him?

Those that handball to a teammate two feet away?

Those that tap the ball to their feet in a rucking contest?

Those that refuse to spread and cover the ball like moths around a light?

Surely?

Needs a kicking coach desperately.

A cantankerous old coot called Bluey on 'Ology labelled him Hookfoot Howe a ways back and if you watch his shot at goal in the first quarter you'll see how apt that is. He swung his leg across his body so dramatically it was never going to be a goal.

If that can be corrected we've got a 10 year forward who will bag 50 a year, but right now we've got a bag of wasted opportunities.

Would like to see him tag the likes of Scotland or Robinson next week, or maybe even Gibbs. Then have him tagging Thomas or Heath Shaw the week after.

Ideal time for him to work of his accountability. Think he can play that role that Stevie J plays, and do it really well.

People will remember him for his hangers, but he's got a lot of tricks.

He has good pace, is clean, skilled (despite some yips at the moment) and a really good work rate. He could be a really good, high possession half forward or perhaps even a midfielder. The hangers are just fun to watch.

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an

    ALAS SPRINGS by Whispering Jack

I got the word on Saturday from someone who knows someone inside the Fremantle camp that the Dockers were pumped and supremely confident about getting the W the next day against Melbourne at TIO Traeger Park in the red heart of the country. I was informed that the Dockers were extremely confident for a number of reasons. They had beaten the Demons on their home territory at the MCG at their last two meetings so they didn’t see beating them at Alice Springs as a problem. They belie

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,
