Mods can delete this if they wish, but I'll post a story about little Tom.

That celebrity fatty show filmed a segment at GWS training, and Tommy was supposed to run at/through Dipper after a Dipper challenge, I'm told Tom "squibbed it", and Dipper proceeded to take the urine (in a jocular way) calling Tom a pussy and such.

Tom completely cracked the shizzles and stormed off. He had to be apologized for.

I'm told sadly that won't go to air.

I wouldn't run through Dipper either, at any weight, but what a joyless little boy Tommy is.

Probably had flashbacks of bouncing off Phil in the back yard whenst trying to grab a sausage.

Series apparently has been axed - couldn't even outlast GWS.

Alas, the segment referred to above will never see the light of day.

I think the show has been shunted to their secondary digital channel, so we may yet see the segment

My $cully t-shirt arrived today.

The photos a little bit rubbish but you can see it here: https://twitter.com/...6630400/photo/1

Probably not the best t-shirt quality you'll ever see but the printing (from just using the jpeg) is very good. Probably should've got a medium rather than large but I'll be wearing over a jumper come round 13 so it might just be perfect.

Love your Work Mr Harcourt!

Where could I get one on a Demons Red 'T' Shirt?

vistaprint.com.au - not sure about getting it on a red t-shirt though. Check out the website.

Just to clarify, I was told the whole bit won't go to air. But I could be mistaken, surely GWS would want something out of it.

Do they sell them in size "morbidly obese"? Might look good covering his fathers gut(s) .

Flash from GWS GIANTS intraclub praccie:

"Voldemort is playing in the midfield and giving his team a lot of direction from the center of the field - appears to be doing a lot of leading on field."

Straight to he bottom .

Just as a note - the BigFooty crew are using it as the yearly meet-up match. They're planning on trying to out-do the cheer squad.

I've got neutral friends who plan on coming for the novelty of hearing the MCC boo loudest of all.

Don't like to rain on the Harry Potter fans but I don't know why we continue to call him Voldemort. My understanding is that Voldemort should not be named out of some sort of fear. $cully should be named and shamed at every opportunity!

Enjoyed this from Caro: I don't know how it will go this year

I support the expansion into western NSW but I'm torn by my historical dislike of Sheedy and schadenfreude associated with Scully's exploiits.

I liked these:

Internally, the expectation is that the Giants are likely to lose all 22 games.

The club revealed last week that it was looking at leaving Blacktown, the place which first welcomed it, as it is already fearing a player exodus in two years.

The whole of GWS is a mess. Not even played a game yet and sacked it's CEO, cannot get a ground to train on, cannot house players without paying huge ammonts to set up Breakfast Point . A senior coach that hasn't coached for four years and is over 60 years old and contracted for this year only. Their senior players are all over 32 years old and most would have retired if not for the money. This venture by the AFL is doomed and after millions of dollars wasted GWS will not survive.

The AFL has not handled the whole GWS thing well at all but they will make sure it succeeds even if it means relocating a club when the current media deal is up.

The idea was to not create a situation like the old Bears (which is what they have done) where clubs sent cast off players, GWS were supposed to use their money and concessions to recruit established players but Gubby and crew are trying to be smart and recruit for the future and supplemented their list with retired players (cast offs). They will get crunched and this will have a detrimental effect on the AFL brand in Sydney and also make it harder to attract a Goddard, Pendlebury or Hurley.

Gold Coast played a season of VFL football which really helped players like Swallow, Smith and Hunt adapt yet for some reason GWS only played in a local Sydney comp. How could this be allowed to happen?

The biggest laugh in recent times for me was Sheedy saying how Folau has really come on and has really learned to read the play. To my knowledge there hasn't been any games or play to read over the last 4-5 months and reading the play in a local Sydney comp might be just a little different to the AFL.

Totall & utterly agree.

Foxtel & Ch 7 will lose truckloads of $$$ broadcasting Giants games. The Novelty of watching them will wear off quickly.

If only Nought Melbourne had gone to the GC this Blacktown Rooted Hill Scenario would not exist. A criminal waste of money.

I don't think it can survive, its not like the GC where there is interest and would be a great place to live. It is Western Sydney where there is no interest, a large number of new Australians who either love soccer or rugby(both codes)or other games from their home land. The AFL will eventually run out of money to promote this club.

Wow.

I can see why T$ left us and went there, they are just so professional.

Laugh you might but I'm reliably informed that Tom Scully absolutely tore it up in last night's practice match picking up possessions at will for his team.

... and the witches hat he played on was seen last night floating down the Paramatta River.

Don't you realise, this is their plan. They are building that list over 2+ Years,,, as they've said as well, but mainly 'IMO', as many clubs contracted their main players to get past GCSuns,,, but many will be available next year, so frontload some, and recruit young + add many High Quality veterans on 1+ contract...

They'll be chasing hard IMO, for Big Names this trade period...$$$$$ and with plenty of room to come on they're List @ years end, with more money to spend after retirements.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
