Last year the Dees drew and lost by a point in their two games with the eventual Premiers. Liam Jurrah did not play in either game. Surely it's time to let him off the leash and let him go for his marks and he could help get the Dees across the line on monday.

This is an interesting point. Did Jurrah play against the Pies in 2009?

According to the Herald Sun today Melbourne Coach Dean Bailey last night was buoyed by the Pies midfield woes

I get more worried without them there as they will try to lift to replace them. Nonetheless it is a great oppurtunity if we bring our "A" game. With Watson and Hocking missing last week i thought our midfield would run too deep and would trouble them and turned out true. Another game under Scully and Trengoves belt is surely going to help. I reckon they'll beat us by about four goals, but I can see us being in the contest until at least three quarter time. I fear that even if we are in front at the final change, they will smash us to pieces in the fourth.
