6- Frawley (bloody brilliant, and shut down Burton who was killing us)

5- Junior (inspirational as always)

4- Grimes (great as always)

3- Jamar (continues to dominate)

2- Warnock (completely shut down Tippet)

6- Frawley, best game I've seen from Chippa. Provided plenty of run and gave his direct opponent nothing. Great move by Bails to stick him on Burton, turned the match.

5- McDonald, If he can keep up this form he'll play on next year

4- Grimes, brilliant second half, like a rock in defence

3- Bennell, provided some spark and applied plenty of pressure in the forward line

2- Bail, he's been a revelation in his 2 games this year

1- Trengove, could have thrown a blanket over about 8 blokes for this last vote. Great even contribution across the board.

5 of my 6 vote getters have played less than 50 games, 4 have played less than 20. Exciting times ahead.

An honorable mention to Rohan Bail who continues to build some form and looks like a handy fixture for 2010.

Nice to see Garland back in the side, I had forgotten how special he is.

Frawley was absolutely fantastic I thought. Building into such a solid player in the backline (and into an animal at that).

Grimes has possibly the coolest head from someone so young that I've seen.

Special mention also to Bartram who I thought was very good. Bail also had a good game.

3. Bennell (Great effort today but give him goal kicking practice!)

2. Bail

1. Dunn (Forget about the errors he made in the 4th Qt, he got 20 touches and a couple of hitouts, 10 marks and came within a couple of metres of 2 goals)

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
