another one to be considered

Once a leg is broken like his was, that's it.

The game is too fast now you only have to talk to Nathan Brown.

Goose maybe excellent coach material down the line though. He was highly respected at linton st.

Always thought he was a bit overrated, a no for me

I thought they wanted to keep him big surprise, looks like ross does not rate heart if he is there with pick 54 take him, unless luke wants to come with us then we need the psd pick.

I seem to remember SEN reporting that he signed a 1 year deal a few weeks back

guess not SEN tend to make it up as they go along sometimes

Then again, SEN might not have made up that story at all.

My contact at St. Kilda suggests that the delisting of McGuire was a little unexpected and there's some speculation that the Saints could be trying to make room under the salary cap to allow a new offer to be made to retain Luke Ball.

Makes a bit of sense but didn't they offer him 500k for three years, surely they wont be going to offer him more

Before a horror run of Injuries Goose was right up there with the best KP defenders in the comp. Sadly like many players injuries have shortened his career. He will get picked up this year being that it is a "thin" draft, however I cannot see how a side that is pushing for youth and speed can make use of a good footballer who has been slowed and is nearing 26 years of age.

I wish him the best of luck finding a new home, can't see it being with the dees.

I think we have enough KPBs. And fitness is an issue.

Pass.

I thinnk his past his injury and fitness worries.

But we do have enough KPB's.

I recon his a good footballer though not for us.

Was never the same after lying on the ground for 10 minutes after a jab to the guts in a final.

Funny bloke though.

we have enough backs ?? really .. not quite on that page with you guys.

Not sure how we would actually get him but if fitness proved he might be worth an interested look at.

Adding goos to the list would take of those players spots/ another players spot on the actual list.

Martin and Garland may play forward.. a fit Goose would eat Rivers for ability to take a forward.. frawley and Warnock are good. Martin is even pinch hittin gin ruck..his future may not be down back at all. We'll wait and see if Garland comes up to it this year

A back line up including Warnock Frawley and Maguire wouldnt be too shabby.

I wont a top team...not a team of my 'fav" players.. who cares whose out there in Red and Blue as long as they respect the jumper and give their all.

its not a mates party !! its AFL footy

I'd look closely at him, but only really if the FD thought he could play forward. His pace is a worry for me down back, but he is one of the best contested marks in the league.

Dont tell sam blease that

Sam Blease certainly hasn't helped his situation any Good by breaking his leg, Fortunately as he is still Growing he should be ok.

Bones heal better when they are still Growing. But only time will tell.

I don't think so, too injured with his lower leg.

It's possible the Saints have delisted the Goose to make salary cap room to keep ball.?

is he fit ?? it may not be the issue it was..it might be.. do we know ??

Go after him I say he is 25 had a year of recovery in the VFL and is no longer pigeonholed as a backman considering he kicked 5 goals on more than one occasion for Sandringham this year. Is only 25 and fits in with our youth policy. Would be silly not to look at him.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
