Haha, quite possibly the most lame, yet thoroughly enjoyable film I have seen in some time
-
Apparently did a hamstring last week.
-
There is obviously an element of luck, but I agree that Clark and Dawes were injury prone prior to being traded to Melbourne. We knew the risks and to this point, both players have been a fail. Unfortunately, we ‘re not in a powerful position at the drafting table and options are limited.
-
Out Dawes, in Hogan. Yeah...I'm shattered.
-
Why is that? Kennedy, Tyson and Jones would form an elite clearance machine…if this happened, I would put money on Melbourne giving the 8 a run. Daydreaming, the closest we ever get to the finals.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - DOM TYSON

Your missing the point, Tyson fits our needs more so than than any player in the top end of the draft. It has nothing to do with being better. -
In the VFL...

Any suggestions for our options in pre season draft (PSD)

Why do people feel compelled to even mention this guy, he was rubbish the first time, move on people. -
I agree that Sylvia is a better footballer but he is not a natural midfielder. Vince is and will fill our needs more than a forward that can pinch hit in the middle
-
I don't think so, there is no reason why the trade could not involve players and picks. The Ox was very strong again last night that Shiel would be heading to the dees later in the trade period. He obviously knows something but I still don't think he feels it's locked in stone.
-
You’re not missing anything, he has achieved stuff all at AFL level yet everyone is drooling over him. If he comes that’s great, I just hope we have negotiated a good deal which might explain the delay.
-
Jesus, this guy must be a superstar Whatever it takes, get him
-
Is it possible they need to open up some more salary cap space?
-
I think you have made your point, shortly we will see whether the footy department are in agreeance…
-
He turns the ball over Steve, yep.
-
Haha, Sublime skills….. Yarran turns the ball over monotonously, don’t be sucked in by his occasional brilliance.
-
This is possibly true. I just hope we don’t take an expectant approach once an experienced coach is appointed.
-
He certainly deserves more thought than your giving him. Melbourne would be negligent in their search for a new coach if Ratten was not at least considered. The fact he is at Hawthorn experiencing their strong culture as you put it, only further enhances his appeal. If Melbourne offered him the coaching role, I would be shocked if he didn’t take it in a heartbeat. Coaching is in his blood and as someone else pointed out, he has unfinished business.
-
That’s the kind of defeatist attitude that has gotten us into this mess.
-
Assuming we get a priority pick. Pick 1 to GWS for Adams and pick 2.
-
Do elaborate?
-
The panel of so called experts was made up almost entirely of ex footballers who Typically, all sided with James and the Essendon Football club. It was hardly ground breaking, infact the whole interview and subsequent show failed to uncover anything new, it just further muddied the waters. It’s impossible to pass judgement on this until the report is released, rumoured to be today.
-
The current results are hardly a ringing endorsement for our captains.
-
I didn’t realise you were going out with young Kate, I look forward to seeing her in a Melbourne jumper!

Forget the performance for the rest of the year, the reality is Mark Neeld will not be coaching this football side next year and therefore should be moved on in the very near future. I’m not sure that we should be too concerned about possible affects this may have on players that have improved under MN……..
