Scenario - which do you prefer ?

If we lose to Freo ( we can then afford to win one more game without losing PP ) would you rather

- a - beat Carlton

- b - beat St Kilda

My choice ( probably totally unrealistic, but one can dream)- beat St Kilda by 1 point - we would end their winning streak ( if they are still undefeated by then) - but it would give us a great morale boost . AND I HATE ST KILDA !!

If we lose to Freo what makes anyone think we are capable of beating carlton or sainters. This week is the only real last chance to taste victory this year.

Nice side-step. What's your answer? ;)

Carltank.Revenge from those 2 games back in 2006- we somehow lost to them when we had top 4 on the line.

As if we'd beat either team though.

Why do people insist on still using the name Carltank??? We are no better than them.

I'd prefer to beat Carlton though.

I consider any such scenario implausible.. simple isnt it

Carlton, if we can mess up their top 4 ambitions! That would be soooo sweet.

Although, i kinda like the idea of the wooden spoon side beating an all conquering St Kilda team, sitting pretty at 21-0, hoping to go thru a whole season undefeated. Has a nice, full-circle kind of feel to it.

we won't win any of those 3 in all likelihood, so it's kinda useless deciding which one we 'should' try to win...

Ideally, all I'm hoping for is that we can get 22 fit players out on the park at this stage for all 3...

Having said that, I would love to see us end Carlton's finals aspirations. I couldn't think of anything better...

Carlton. Then we can say "they know we're coming - and catching up quickly"

To wish injury of any type on a player let alone one that bad is disgraceful.

Yep. But in some ways I am a small bitter man.

Carlton. i have family that follow the Blues so would be sweet to give it to them at last.

If it stuffs up their finals campaign a bit well all the better!

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,

    GALLANT by KC from Casey

The world “gallant” is not one that is readily acceptable to losing teams in our game of football so when it was used in the context of the Casey Demons’ loss to Sandringham in yesterday’s match at Casey Fields, it left a bitter taste in the mouth.  The Demons went into the game against the St Kilda affiliated Zebras with the advantage of playing on their home turf (not that this has been a major asset in 2024) and with very little else going in their favour. The Saints have close to a full

    MEANWHILE by Whispering Jack

… meanwhile, at about the same time that Narrm was putting its feet on the accelerator to obliterate the long-suffering Euro-Yroke combination, I heard someone mention in passing that Kuwarna was leading Waalitj Marawar by a whopping 46 to 1 halfway through the second quarter of their game over in Adelaide. “What is football coming to?” I asked myself.  In front of my eyes, the Demons were smashing it through the midfield, forcing turnovers and getting the footy to their forwards who w
