Take the four points against the expansion team and move on to next week.

Give the Milkman another one year deal.

Best win in 3 years

A great afternoon. Dees win, wine and chocolate.

One of the best performances since 2021, just proud of the lads and a coach breathing new life into them.

I will say I’m a nervous watcher, and I’m shaking now. Need help to get through….

All I will say is I like cookies…

CARNA [censored] DEES!

Wow. We just mowed them down in the last and got rewarded a couple of times which helped.

kP is a master craftsman and he's not alone. Milk out for ages but boots four. Max the usual AA.

I'm so stoked.

In fact all grudges , insults and sarcasm is forgiven. I love you all but adore this club.

Masterclass of centre bounce clearances by Oliver and Petracca. 18 to 9 is 2021 stuff….um!

So many positives but Sparrow was an absolute maniac in that last quarter. Like an out of control boulder with vices for arms .

Turns out one team needs Christian Petracca and it ain’t us!!

What a win!

Our ferocity at hunting them was incredible. Tommy Sparrow has really turned it on!!

I just really hope someone checks in on Trac make sure he is doing okay…

The suns are a plastic soulless team.

22 tried to steal it with some of the worst umpiring seen for a long time.

You know what happens when you heat up plastic? It melts.

Great team performance. Intensity across 4 quarters was off the chart. We gave them no quarter and that’s why we take the 4 points

(Steele and Gawn, incredible).

I love that we are fun to watch. Boys are happy and confident and firing.

Go Dees!!! 💙❤️

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
