POSTGAME: Rd 24 vs Collingwood

This team is just fake fit. No one is surprised we coughed that up because it's been the same for 2 seasons now. "Loading" excuses always been laughable.

Also Harry Sharp played the worst game i've seen all year last week, got to be sub this week and was a negative influence.

this team breaks my heart

season 25 can get in the bin

Looking forward to some new players in red and blue and a new coach next season.

At least we fought out the last game. Might've seen the last of some stalwarts tonight.

Our fourth quarters continue to be our achilles heel.

Langford is a gem.

Long, long pre-season ahead.

Was a fun third quarter but there's some serious mental demons (pardon the pun) amongst this group, so good luck to the new coach trying to turn it around.

Footy sucks sometimes.

Brave effort by the boys.

Faaaaark l hate our club sometimes

Never ever win the close ones

Weak as water

Feel sick that only 4 years ago the Dees were gearing up to play a home final in my Adelaide then lucky enough to travel to Perth to see the ultimate.

Now we have premiership hero's that couldn't even put in a 2nd [censored] effort in a close game.

Petracca, May please leave.

#10, 11, 19, 20, 36 & 41. They are the only must keeps. Everyone else on the list I’d entertain offers.

6/45. Pathetic management of our list.

They just LOOOOOVE letting you down this side. They always find a way!

Collingwood were 0-5 for wins when trailing at 3 quarter time.

You literally had one job to do Melbourne for the whole of the AFL General population and you choked once again like you always do in high pressure games.

Time to [censored] right off 2025

Was it ever in doubt?

Thank god change is coming. Hope the players feel uncomfortable.

You could see it coming a mile off

I miss being able to believe in this team 😢

Like most MFC supporters this team is fading away

Like a ghostly apparition immersed in a pandemic cloud... were we ever real

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
