Sorry, Joel, but the disillusionment is two way.

sounds like he doesn’t want to take responsibility for his actions

id be more disillusioned by decision making capabilities instead of AFL if I was him.

My heart goes out to him. I know he made a really silly decision, but he’s lost everything he’s ever worked for as a result.
I wish him only the best in the future.

Nice post Jaded.

No judgement or holier than thou.

These are teenagers and young men.

They make mistakes.

Best of luck to him.

Australia never had to sign up to the World Anti Doping Authority.

It would have been better to run our own show and any infractions kept in-house.

Sometimes you do something that is not a smart move. And it ends up costing you a lot.
Hope other young players are taking note

You reckon the club don't have a pretty clear idea, don't think they haven't spoken to him in some depth?

This was more than likely chalked up months ago... today is probably the day the club can act.

Unfortunate/ necessary

Such is life

9 years on an AFL list for 42 games. He should have been delisted years ago, and certainly should have been dismissed immediately after being stood down by the AFL.
