Talking to a former Casey forward coach down by the pool and he told me he was talking to Tommo who thinks he's about a 60% t0 70% chance to get picked up by Collingwood. Speaking of which, Pendle's is up here on holidays too.

Maybe pretend to smother a pretend ball and knock peddles out and say it was a football act 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

We can't forget Blake Howes. Add a couple kgs and he will be a great 2nd or 3rd tall option for us.

He’s an oversized flanker. Not an aerial defensive bone in his body. Has to improve that but more than anything needs to show the run and skills that saw him drafted.

He is above average in intercept possessions, he's a nick blakey type imo. Hybrid key defender and rebounder.

Tom Scully delisted (do not adjust your monitor)

19yo 203cm forward. Only 2 years in the system then dumped.

Kicked 20 goals from 18 games for Port SANFL this year. Not great but Port won the wooden spoon so it's not all his fault.

Interesting prospect for a rookie spot?

CARLTON midfielder Jack Carroll is among three players delisted by the Blues, despite playing 15 games this season. Blues being ruthless. They have cut a few and are loading up in this draft.  Whilst it’s tough on these young guys, they are seen as not quite good enough. Carroll can still be a good AFL player so it’s likely he will go home to WA and would be picked up by the Eagles or Dockers.

Any news on Joel Smith??

Justice delayed is justice denied, to be clear, not talking about what justice is denied for. So many double standards in the AFL, I'd really like to see him rehabilitated, he can actually play pretty bloody well and is easily the best of any player going around compared to anyone else on the delisted list. And on the bright side he has been injury free for 12 months.

No DGB. No Narkle. We've fully subscribed when it comes to list cloggers, with at least eight.

Name them all please !

It’s nothing to do with the AFL, in competition test is a WADA matter

List cloggers IMO (current): Billings, McAdam, Fullarton, Laurie.

Potential: Adams, Verrall, Sestan, Kentfield, Campbell.

Yes, we need 'depth' players, backups, whatever term you use, but four of those named have been delisted by other clubs for a reason. Reports from Casey are that Jefferson is the only player that could debut next season.

I hope I'm proved wrong.

2024 squad = 45.

Minus😭ANB, BBB, 😭Gus, KFW, Schache, Tomlinson & JS29 likely to go.

Plus Campbell and Sharp.

So now 40 on the list.

Dees likely to look at drafting 3 players in the draft and

either a rookie or one spot for a SSP train in player over the summer.

Is the period to pickup delisted free agents still open or do you need to use draft picks at this point?

Opens again next Friday, and runs for a week. Not sure there will be much interest there, as clubs can wait for the draft and pick them up late, or wait for the supplementary period

Max knobel will reportedly be delisted by Freo and picked up as a rookie. He had previously been mentioned on some posts....is he worth a look ? Only just 20 and 206 cm. Played at Gippsland as a junior. He didn't do too much this year and last, but is only 20.

I'm certainly all for throwing a life line out to DGB. And if not him then Caleb Marchbank. The only key defender we have coming through is Jed Adams who I'm not sold on. Who knows how long May & McDonald will go on, so we need some other options down there.

Either would be worth a go IMO, but preferably DGB.

Petty should be tattoo'd into the full back goalswquare for the next decade. he could be an all australian if they actually let him flourish, even throwing turner behind the ball when may or mcdonald got subbed out of games ahead of petty was really poor to see imo from the coaching group

Agree with you on Petty playing in the backline however you’re very harsh on Sharp calling him a list clogger. Let the man at least play a game for us first.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session.
