Iโ€™m ok with this as he did stage and got a free out of doing so, tbh I think the fine should be much more.

Now watch as no one else gets done for staging.

Sorry but this gets fined but the countless of other garbage staging weโ€™ve seen for years doesnโ€™t?

There is not a day that goes by where I donโ€™t hate the AFL moreย

I didnโ€™t like it and Iโ€™m fine with the punishment. Just be consistent tho for goodness sake. Nick Daicos would NEVER get fined for doing the same and worse.ย

If May gets $1800, Xavier Duursma is about to get a $250,000 fine for his effort this afternoon.ย

Itโ€™s great that he has been finedโ€ฆ. Absolutely the right call.ย
ย

I am perplexed how this is the only staying fine for the year howeverโ€ฆ we really should be seeing multiple a week.ย
ย

Brodie Kemp & Nick Daicos will be playing for free if this is the new precedentย

ย

How about a retroactive one for Rozee in-front of goal? Or about 100 other players.

Lets be honest, May did it to reverse what wouldโ€™ve been a heinous holding the ball free.

Now, why Steven May is a deer in the headlights and canโ€™t run with the footy I donโ€™t know but itโ€™s been an escalating problem for a while. The big fella doesnโ€™t like being tackled.

Fine, don't disagree with that. But now they've set a precedent they need to stick to it... but of course, they won't.

Umpire should be dropped for not blowing the whistler earlier.

I think that happens in the umpire changing rooms after the game.

It was embarrassingย

deserves a fine

I reckon Rivaldo still has Maysie covered.

Wish the AFL would introduce fines on umpires making [censored] decisions.
Give to charity and make the boys in yellow more accountable.ย

Definitely staged and ok with the fine. That said, players do the same thing, multiple times in every game, and donโ€™t hear of them being fined.ย

Iโ€™m with you

ย

Consistency. Will the club say anything about consistently applying it? Probably not. But they should. And if they donโ€™tโ€ฆ.ย

Letโ€™s hope the AFL ย stay consistent on thisโ€ฆ iโ€™m becoming convinced the blues players practice it.ย

Epic battle alert. ย This Sunday, Casey Fields hosts a coachโ€™s showdownย pitting the wits of the master Mick Stinear (92 games, 71.7% winย rate)ย againstย hisย protรฉgรฉ Daisy Pearce (16ย games,ย 43.8%). • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chancesโ€”plenty of themโ€”but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Portโ€™s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmyโ€™s inclusive bannerโ€”"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwoodโ€™s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.ย

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.
