This may seem somewhat of a harsh comment, but this neither excites nor frustrates me.

Disco staying or going is not going to change the direction we go in.

There is a lot of up side with him, just needs game time and coaching development.

I reckon he’s a kid with talent. He just needs time. Sign him up and keep playing him.

Met him

He's a lovely young man and he is stoked at being at the club

Plays for the jumper. Need more of them.

Can definitely see this kid getting better and better, and he’s most welcome to do that with the Demons.

I wouldn’t be opening the vault myself.

Yawn     wont matter if he stays or goes to me

Maybe we should link his pay to disposals might motivate him to get of the bottom of the disposal list

Completely ineffectual in my view

Tina -just get a kick son.

I think we need to play him down back for the rest of the year and going forward. He, Lever and May should form a good three pronged defence next year (with Tomlinson likely gone and T Mac probably out of contract) and all played well in our great win over Sydney late last year.

He and Petty are not working up forward in the slightest. We need to find other options, whether that's T Mac, BBB or Melksham in a few weeks - natural forwards please.

For some reason he reminds of me of Howes.

There is a difference Turner likes the contest all the time.

Dunstall would not get a kick in our forward line and people expect him to goals without teaching him forward craft.

Whoever his manager made up.

who will teach him?How long will it take

another withering forward option. I hope he gets going

Kid who’s shows good potential. flexible and a good mark. Wish he could get a run of games together

glad he wants to stay

He is still only kid as for teaching him a forward coach if we get one someone with that ability because we haven't got one now, now that's not to say moving from the backline to the forward line is going to work, but they need to gives these kids the tools to work on.

22 year old key defender / forward, good mark and kick who doesn’t mind a bit of physicality, Disco has been hampered by injury. We need players of his ilk but needs to have a good run at it.

The criticism on here has all the credibility of a plan that involves 7 small nuclear plants being owned by the Government, from a Government that does not want to own things.

It's a team game and not everyone is going to be a star.  This bloke could be very, very good though.

The lad has played under 12 games and shown plenty.  Loves the contest, is agile and has plenty of upside.  He will never be a target forward, but a good 3rd option - and can swing down back.

How many young players do we have that can do that and have his upside?  Not many.  I'm excited for his future with us.

North are into him

Has been showing some good signs and the FD obviously rate him.

Not sure being a forward is his best position, so would love to see them move him down back especially next year if Tmac and Tommo leave.

That's what a swingman can do, I guess?! (funny old language, English, innit?)

Re the OP article, 'closing in on', as opposed to 'inks' smacks of Club (via AFL) media trawling for good news about us.

As to DT himself, goodo!

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
